Typical late Victorian terraced house in the seaside town of Penarth. A long, thin room simply crying out for a sympathetic kitchen update to bring it into line with the rest of a stylishly done house. Originally a large utility area dominated the eye line when entering from the hall, we chose to move that back in order to gain more floor space but not sacrifice vital function. Now a beautifully light, sleek space with slim island, casual seating and open bookcase. Finished with a pale grey colour and lovely grey and white work surface.
