SPANISH REMODEL

Transitional Living Room, Los Angeles

The living room is rather small, but we maximized the space by incorporating furniture that was of the proper scale and proportion to the room. A sisal rug grounded the furniture on the dark hardwood floors. The furniture was kept neutral to appeal to a wide range of buyers. Since we were unable to add recessed lighting, decorative wall sconces we added to provide additional lighting. The original adobe textured walls were left to pay homage to the history and architecture of the the home. An indoor mother-in-laws tongue was added to bring an outdoor element into the indoors for a warmer and cozier feel.
