Panel an islandMost of us, admittedly, don’t have space for an island as large as this one, but it’s a great example of how a traditional-style panelled unit, teamed with a wooden worktop, can add grandeur and a country manor air. This kitchen sticks to simple white, warmed up by wood, and it works beautifully. Not sure whether you have room for a kitchen island? Read this expert advice
