We used Dan for conversion of an existing garage (built on a slope, so one storey at the front and 2 storey at the back) into an annexe which had quite a few logistical challenges! He was knowledgeable, thorough and extremely helpful and on-hand as the project developed with ideas and advice as to managing any problems as/if they arose. Dan Bilton was the architect for our 2 storey hipped roof extension. He did a grand job, he's easy to talk to and works hard to give you the design you'd like, coupled with his own knowledgeable input and enthusiasm for modern environmentally friendly designs, and flare for really neat looking ideas in keeping with the locality. He's very up to date with the latest environmentally efficient building tech, building regulations and what you can get through planning. Dan talked with us as he produced the drawings and did the building regulations and planning process for us before we chose a builder. Our builder commented that Dan was a nice bloke (which he found unusual for an architect), and also thorough, clear and good to work with on site.
