Love coming home. Transform your house into your dream home. We hold your hand from the first sketch to the last brick. Is your house not working for you? Does it have several dark rooms that don't flow? We can transform your home into a light-filled open-plan space that you and your family can enjoy being in together. Our clients can see exactly how their home could look in virtual reality - before they involve builders; it's like a test drive. Walk through my design using our VR headset and decide if it's what you want - then I will tweak the design to suit you. We will help you understand the cost of building it, take care of all the consents, planning permission etc and source a structural engineer if required. I can even help you find a builder. We have gained planning permission and building regulations approval in Hampshire for over 300 unique homes of all sizes in the past two years. In fact, last month we obtained building regulations approval for a client’s extension and open-plan family room in an amazing two weeks. Why choose me? Carl is a great architect. He really listened to our likes and ideas, made really beneficial suggestions and solutions and created many design iterations until we finalised the drawings. He has been incredibly supportive throughout, attending site meetings with our planner and builders too. He completes work in good time and sends helpful talk-though videos as well. He also created a virtual reality view of our design, which was brilliant and showed us exactly what we can expect to experience once built. Highly recommended!

Timber clad house on the South Downs Way

Carl helped turn our 1974 bungalow into a fabulous timber-clad forest house! When we were looking for an architect, we interviewed several but stopped as soon as we met Carl. We just loved his ideas and designs. Throughout the 2-year process, he always listened to our ideas and improved on them. He even managed to keep within a tight budget! Now, 10 years later, our family home still provides us with joy and flexibility for our family needs. We love coming home every day! We were looking for inspiration for a large kitchen diner renovation and we are very happy with the outcome. Carl provided a number of design options of how we could utilise existing space and/or extend out even further, all supported with 3D walkthroughs which brought the various designs to life. We chose Carl because he had lots of experience renovating similar houses within the local area. He was extremely helpful and had lots of good ideas of how best to maximise the space available. He was also able to advise on some good local builders one of which we ended up using to carry out the works. We had contact throughout the whole process which was very reassuring for us. Any new home build can be quite daunting, Carl and his Team were very friendly and good value and persistent with the council to obtain authority for us to proceed with building works, They came to the house and helped us to decide how to maximise the space we wanted to work with, I would highly recommend him.

it is rare to find a professional architect who not only understands the principles but also the practicalities of buildings, from designing something that is visually appealing and practical to live in through to something that can actually be built. it is often overlooked that we are building homes as well as houses, a place that families spend many years of there lives. Carl's understanding of buildings from both a design perspective and a structural perspective enabled him to guide us along the path to full planning on what is a very complex build, this was where the previous architect failed. his clear passion for living space shines through. his ability to explain not only what needs to be done but also why makes the whole project run smoother

Carl ticked all the boxes for us when we were looking for an architect. He delivered what we hoped for and more. He seemed to understand much better than other architects we spoke to exactly what we were looking to achieve right from the off. Our project was to further extend our house which was originally built in 1880 and had already been extended twice in the 1980s. His design brought together all the best elements of the existing house flawlessly while greatly improving both the flow and internal layout and the external appearance. He was happy to provide various iterations incorporating our requests and suggestions whilst guiding us as to what would and wouldn’t work. I feel the quality of his design ultimately assisted us in getting through the, somewhat painful, planning process. I would have no hesitation in recommending Carl to someone looking to embark on a similar project. We found him helpful, experienced and completely professional and absolutely love all the changes we’ve now made to our home, it’s stunning!

We were absolutely delighted how Carl turned our wish list into multiple realities. The initial plan was great but he enabled us to tweak and improve it through the build. The photos are fantastic - they actually miss some of the best rooms like snug, office and downstairs shower).
