“We had just purchased a very prominent corner lot in the Historic District of Lewes, DE. While looking through magazine after magazine, we came across an award feature displaying a house designed by Kirk Allbright. After seeing the house he had renovated for himself in Severna Park, we knew we had the Architect to design our cottage. Kirk and David carefully listened to our thoughts on how we envisioned our new home, and our budget requirements, and simply hit the ball out of the park. The result was a home that has been featured in both House and Christmas Tours in Lewes, and lives like a dream.”

“We met with Ileana to discuss possible renovation ideas to our 1960s house to open up the space and to re-think our upstairs bathrooms. She designed the project in a way that allowed us to consider the two pieces (upstairs and downstairs) both separately and together. We originally thought we would focus on the upstairs initially, but we were so happy with the redesigned first floor that we ended up deciding to tackle this project first. We contracted with a local company to do the work, and they have had no problems following Ileana's architectural drawings.”

“Jim was very professional he spent many hours with me on the phone and on join. Me to make sure that I was completely satisfied he took lots of pictures of the property and made sure he went back and looked at those pictures with me to give me a good idea of what space we were working with. I am very pleased with Jim's performance and his attitude and his work I would definitely hire him again.”

“I would highly reccomend Cathy Cherry. I had the pleasure of working with her on a house that she designed for Baldwin Homes for the Maryland Green Show Home. The area that I designed and furnished was the Kitchen, Eat-in Area and Great Room. I love how she designed the areas to be an open floor plan. I find that homeowners in this area of Maryland like open floor plans because it is a more interactive but, casual way of life. When I heard that Cathy was designing the home and wanted it to be a "tidal" home I knew that her style would fit hand in glove with my "Chesapeake Cozy" style. The architectural detail on the home was top notch. In my area, I particularly loved the strong columns. I repeated the detail in my custom built-ins flanking the fireplace. “It was a pleasure working with Robert Berry of Three B Architecture on a recent home that I constructed. Mr. Berry was hired by my client to design a waterfront home on a very challenging lot. What impressed me the most was how he was able to maximize the water views from almost every room in the house by designing elevated ceilings with large window openings and indoor spaces that opened to carefully planned outdoor living areas. After working so closely with Mr. Berry, it was apparent that he has a sharp eye for every detail of the building process, from structural elements to the finest finishing details.”

“We interviewed several firms for our 3-story home addition. We chose Nugent for a few reasons. One, they don't beat around the bush. They are honest and work hard to stay within budget. In fact, we have several meetings before any type decision was made or money was exchanged to be sure the project could be done to both parties satisfaction. Two, as a design/build firm, it was so much easier to keep track of who is in charge of what and where accountability is. There's only one person managing your project... so it is super easy with Nugent to get answers and attention. Three, Alex, Nick, John and the entire Nugent team are so patient and talk to homeowners like equals. There weren't any terms that were over my head, and the design team was so good about walking us through every little step so that we were comfortable. Four, they got the job done on time and within the timeframe they quoted us for. These guys really know what they are doing. I can't wait to build my next house with them! I will say that Nugent is not the cheapest design build firm. But their craftsmanship is great, and they stand by their work. We look forward to our one-year check in with them!”
