“I hired Rebecca Poole to draw up plans for a new 2 car garage that I will be having built. When we met with her, and I explained what we were looking for, she took some measurements to begin work. After a very short time, she notified me that the elevations were done, and after that, the final plans were generated. All of the plans were of excellent quality.....very professional !! Rebecca was a pleasure to work with, and her services were reasonably priced. I highly recommend Rebecca if you are looking for this type of service, and would hire her again in a second if needed. “Michael is a very capable and creative architect. I had the good fortune of acquiring his professional help and contracted with him to expand the first level of our “cape” house in Mattapoisett. We originally thought of modifying a previous family room addition to use as the basis of our new plans. Michael looked into that structure and determined that because of some floor issues and wall cracks that it was not structurally sound enough to use. I had full confidence in Michael’s recommendation; so, although it would cost more to destroy that structure and start over, we agreed. As the first phase started, my contractor ran into a very disturbing issue where the foundation of the initial addition was unstable. Michael was correct in his analysis. Michael is very thorough and meticulous. I highly recommend Michael Silva as your architect.”

“It was a pleasure working with Stephen to transform our 1980s ranch into a charming coastal cottage. From the first meeting we had with him in January 2017, he understood the vision for our home and designed a open floor plan that reflected our lifestyle. There was never a time when we were not on the same page when finalizing the design or picking materials or even deciding on paint colors. Stephen is detail oriented, incredibly responsive, and always mindful of our budget restrictions. Our remodeling project was successful due, in no small part, to his creativity, sense of responsibility, and thoughtfulness. I would recommend him without hesitation..”

“We couldn’t have made a better choice when choosing Beacon Home Design for the design our dream home. After meeting with several home design and architect firms we felt confident immediately after meeting with Joe Correia from Beacon and knew he was the right choice. Joe brought all of our ideas together, guiding us with his creativity and practicality. Pointing out so many things along the way that we wouldn’t have ever considered. He helped make a confusing process seamless. Before meeting with Joe we had a lot of anxiety about the whole process but he quickly put everything into prospective. We were amazed by how patient he was, listening to what seemed to us as jumbled ideas at times. But he somehow understood what we were conveying to him. Joe was two steps ahead of us putting together those ideas better that we could have imagined. We found he had a vast amount of knowledge and experience with so many aspect of home building. This became instrumental in us making the right decisions. I can’t say enough about Joe. Joe makes the process an ease and a pleasure. “Edward Williams met with us to discuss a full remodel of our kitchen, dining room and den. We discussed our goals and use of the space as well as our budget. With this in mind, he provided us with a floor plan, which we worked to modify until we felt satisfied with the results. He understood how to design the space so that it fit with our current style of home while still providing significant updates and improvements. He provided clear costs for his work and time and was excellent at follow up throughout the project.”

“Over 30 years ago, early in his career, Sam Sherman worked on the design of the Chilmark home of our best friends. Our friends introduced us to the Vineyard, and were always very happy with the efficiency of their home and the excellent use of light. When we were able to purchase our own home on the island, Sam was our first choice as a designer, given the positive experience our friends had over the years. We purchased a dark, dingy home and did a near tear down of the existing structure. Sam saw what we did not see, that by reorienting the house we came away with incredible light and views. The design plan he provided not only gave us incredible views but the detail enabled the Contractor to bid the job to the penny. We needed a variance from the town to execute the plan and did not want to buy the house until we knew we could make the changes. Sam’s team dealt with the Edgartown planning board very effectively and efficiently to get the job approved in only 4 weeks. Because we are not full time residents of the island, we also had Sam run the contractor selection process and provide construction oversight. We have built a number of homes before but never have we been on budget and on schedule and never before have we been as pleased with the end result. We would recommend Sam and his team to anyone planning to build or remodel on Martha’s Vineyard. Pamela & Bill Craven”

“Stephen did an outstanding job for our project. Our project was a significant porch tear down and reconstruct/enlargement. Everything was very custom, including layout, roof connection to main structure, footer supports, storage underneath, drainage, electric, materials, etc. Stephen's drawings and materials were perfect and executed within the timeline required by zoning review for permits, etc. He worked really well with our contractor and other local city people that needed specific follow-up clarifications. Stephen made it really easy to make adjustments as appropriate as the project went on. Stephen was very responsive, easy to reach and very professional to work with. I would highly recommend him for any work in his field and will use him on future projects.”

“Excellent response to inquiry about remodeling with suggestions for upgrades and renovations. They were respectful of the project and my ideas and thought carefully about my concerns. Their knowledge of local building codes and the permitting process was extremely helpful and gave me a foundation for making decisions about my project. Budget constraints on my part have been the reason I have not moved forward with the work at this time. However, I will move forward with Integrata should my circumstances change. The quality of their work and their expertise in environmental and energy saving issues is cutting edge!”
