“Four years after completion and the house is still fantastic. The brief was to transform and extend an old house for modern living. After interviewing a short list of architects we chose Chris. The preliminary sketch he showed me with his ideas after his first visit to the site was replicated and enhanced in the final build. Every "annoying" trait of the old house has been eliminated and what we have now is a beautiful combination of an old and modern house which works well. The old part of the house is made of stone on the left and the new part of the house is glass and wood on the right. The large window area gives outstanding view over our wood which the previous old and small windows did not give. Chris also designed a free standing glass and wood studio which sits to the left of the house - again with outstanding views The team (builder RG Walker, Quantity Surveyor Tozer and Tozer and architect Fasciato) worked extremely well together to deliver a project that was on time, on budget and of outstanding quality. I would and have recommended Fasciato.”

The working plans he provided were detailed and allowed me to project manage most of the work myself. The house follows the Design for Life ethos and is practical as well as stylish and contemporary. He was also flexible with his design and allowed me to 'tweak' without getting cross!
