“Our first "in the flesh" viewing of the Oakwrights Kenchester barn-style garage we purchased was at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed - we were amazed at how spacious it was and the quality of the build was clearly excellent. Our requirement was for the building to be constructed on a pre-arranged base. We were delighted when we initially sought a quotation from Oakwrights to find it undercut the nearest estimate we had by £4000! The whole process of erecting the frame and tiling took three men three days from start to finish, which was amazing. They were totally professional and courteous and kept us informed of progress throughout. The end result is fantastic and gets much admiration from visitors and friends alike.”

“Millar Howard were our architects on our project to build what we have called 'The Gillyflower'; a rammed earth sound proofed and very beautiful, sustainable wedding and events venue. From the very early stages of this project (before we even knew what the business was going to be).. MHW worked with us on feasibility, planning, creative ideas, design and administrated the contract with our excellent builders, JR Building LTD. We couldn't be more happy with the level of service we got and they often went beyond the limits of our brief to ensure that we ended up with what is now a very popular, impressive and stunning building perfectly sitting in the landscape. “Anthony understood our brief from the beginning and gave us several options that made clever use of the space. He came up with some great ideas and the finished project has transformed our home- we are very happy. “Our requirement was a bit unusual as we needed to fit a new structure onto the rear of the house without compromising existing windows, and to create a novel and dramatic structure with ‘wow’ factor whilst transforming the overall look of the rear elevation. Where two previous architects had failed to find a solution that we liked, Lizzie took us through a layered process that ultimately delivered an exciting and unique solution. Through this, she developed a good understanding of what we were trying to achieve and we are delighted with the resulting scheme. Lizzie provided an excellent drawings pack that our builders rate as the best they have seen, and was highly effective at working through detail with us and the builders and key suppliers to ensure no issues or surprises as the build progressed. The final result certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.”
