“July 2016 Our house is now several years complete. As I walk thorugh the house, I'm grateful that Phil was able to work with us. It's amazing how the little touches that he suggested throughout the house enhances our living experience. Instead of using the main hallway, the kids love the passage way to each other's bedrooms. If you are looking for someone who will put your vision on paper, I HIHGLY recommend Phil and his team. Update January 26,2013 We are now about 5-6 months into the actual construction. It has been interesting to see Phil's design take shape. We have made very few adjustments to the actual design. In our numerous discussions of how to place the house, Phil has done a great job. We will have incredible amounts of sunlight flowing through the main living areas of the house during the day-ESPECIALLY during the winter months. At night, the bedrooms will be nicely sheltered by the winds that at times blow very briskly across the property. Great Job! These are the fine details that Phil was able to capture for us, which we didn't even think about. I know that Phil had told us about the ceiling details during the design stage and for a non artistic person it was difficult for me to envision. Having seen it framed and how it fits with the arches through the hallway, and how at the end of the hallway, it is framed by a window that offers an incredible view, I have to say- I am truly impressed by Phil's attention to details. Thnx Phil! We worked with Phil recently. Phil was able to effectively listen to our needs/wishes and put our ideas into a design that we are very happy with. In terms of time, Phil and Matt were readily available for help and advice, often outside of "normal" work hours. They were willing to help in providing us with information about other trades that will help us achieve our goals. We have also shown the design to several builders for planning and logistics purposes and the general feedback has been that the design is coherent and well thought out. We will certainly call on Phil and Mat to do future work. It was a fabulous work relationship and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks Guys! Note: If I could give a 4.8 on Houzz, I would certainly do so but unfortunately, I can only give 4 or 5 stars. They are not perfect, but pretty darn close.”

“I hired William Dewson Architects to design a summer cottage in Georgian Bay on a 5 acre island. Our first challenge was to figure out the site plan and where to put the cottage given numerous zoning restrictions and other natural fators. Bill and his team were great to work with throughout the whole process of defining the best site and then brainstorming the design that best suited our family asthetic. Bill's charismatic enthusiasm made our meetings fun and creative, we were all very happy with the end result and thoroughly enjoyed the design experience from start to finish.”

“We engaged Lindy Consulting to provide some plans to renovate the 3rd floor of our house which was an unused portion of our house which contained two bedrooms and which we were using as additional storage space. Our plan was to move our master bedroom to this space and add a full washroom. We met with Steven and Annette to discuss our ideas and how we envisaged the space and our estimated budget. They came back to us the following week with some preliminary sketches that impressed us. We then gave them the mandate to prepare full drawings and once approved by us, they managed the project from completing the drawings, getting them approved, and seeing the project through to completion. We were quite hands-on in the decision making but they truly took ownership of the project and had our best interests in mind throughout. Although we ended up spending more than we budgeted (which was as a result of our decision to upgrade bathroom appliances, flooring etc.), we are really pleased with the final result.”

“I hired Gabriele and his company, Geometra Design in June 2012 to design a 3,500 square foot, 2 storey home that I will be building in south Etobicoke. Gabriele was able to complete concept design, committee of adjustment application and meeting, building permit design and application in less then 5 months. He was able to accomodate all aspects of the building permit requirements, including mechanical engineer, structural engineer and final renderings. His professionism and approach to the project, including deadlines was unsurpassed. He was able to facilitate all my needs, from design to building permit application (which in Toronto in not easy). His knowledge of the new digital building permit application requirements, made my application process very easy. I was told at the City of Toronto building department that most people do not have all the documents in the required format, but my application was perfect. I am very pleased with his work ethic and ability to respond to all requests. He was very easy to work with and I would recommend Gabriele and his company to anyone who is looking for a knowledgable architect, who can take any project from start to finish with ease.
