“Brent from Eight Six Design was the architect that created our fantastic new house. Its a single story 4 bedroom, cladded, colour bond roof with above ground concrete pool, wide entrance hall and lots of deck He did a wonderfull job and was always eager to help with any changes and worked well with the all the trades as required. His design has had many people asking us about him and we have referred new cutomers already. We had very little trouble with a build that had to be 1.5 meters off ground level and could have been very difficult, Brents ability to see potential faults and deal with council and certifiers made our project run like a well oiled machine. I can't thank him enough and would reccomend Eight Six Design very highly.”

“We have worked with Rustic Touch on and off for 7 years, and have engaged them to design and build two large homes as well as a renovation to another. You often hear dreadful stories about the relationship between builders and clients. Fortunately every experience we have had has been fantastic, which is probably why we have used their services more than once. Tony and Deb are incredibly professional in their approach to every part of the build. They are both very talented in design and build and it is because of them that we have a house that we absolutely love. We could not recommend them highly enough.”

“Ukalovic Design is an architectural drafting service and is owned and operated by Jay Ukalovic. We were referred to Jay by a prominent building company in Newcastle last year. Jay earned the right to do our design work after a basic tender process where we received proposals from 3 designers/draftsman. What struck us immediately was Jay's manner and disposition. He handled his first meeting with professionalism and care and demonstrated a keen willingness to listen carefully to what we wanted out of our design. The journey we have been on together is now at DA stage and we could not be happier. Jay has quickly worked through all variations and iterations of what we needed to see on paper so that we could consider all options. “We engaged Margaret Skilbeck to help us with a major renovation and extension of our family home in Warrawee. Architelle was recommended by a local builder who gave us the names of a few architects that work in the Area. He told me Margeret Skilbeck was conversant with Kuringai council regulations and her turnaround time in submitting work was also good. We were very happy with the design and final result. One of the best things we did was engage Margeret to supervise the building project which included weekly site meetings. it took away a lot of the stress involved in building work. She gave us very good advise along the way and helped in choosing materials and fittings. She was professional, capable, efficient and very pleasant and we have no hesitation in recommending Her. She was able to work well with the builders & coordinate the other professionals. Her fees were reasonable and good value.”

“We bought a total dump of a terrace which had serious structural and aesthetic issues. We hired Palaestra to help us reconfigure the building to make the most of the spaces, increase the light while keeping the cost low. Palaestra solved the puzzle of using the space as well as possible. We have a truly brilliant new stair configuration. They designed really great rooms and had real sensitivity to our rather serious budget constraints. Unlike a number of the people we hired on the job, Palaestra really got that we couldn't afford the best or most beautiful finishes but always come up with a good looking alternative. Palaestra always deliveredon time and responded to crises.”

“My husband & I Contacted 'Site Specific's' Sheralee to create plans for a Hamptons home extension to our existing 3 level home in Bayview. Shealee has made the whole process enjoyable and effortless . Providing us with comprehensive details of what we could expect at each stage , all the reports required she also organised for us .While offering us a pool of information as well as trusted contacts along the journey so we can ensure we are making wise choices for suppliers and trades people. In Sheralee's website she states that DESIGN, of a home should embody the hopes, dreams and aspirations of its inhabitants , while offering functionality simplicity.
