“Mark Mallindine Architects followed and helped ease my project through the tortuous planning stages helping justify various contentious issues and working closely with the other contractors involved. All the while the project was being honed with me the client so that when work could finally begin, plans were agreed and in place. The final part of the project was handed over successfully to furniture designer/manufacturers who refined the concept after architect briefing and agreement of details with client. Also plans for flooring and lighting contractor were fully handed over when this work began allowing the builder to finesse the details without unnecessary interference from architect. This staged process maximised efficiency and the final result. This was an archive storage unit mobile enough to allow very occasional deliveries, e.g. furniture or washing machine changes in future, without making the unit too narrow or impractical. An practical and good looking solution to storage described by one friend as "elegant" (a word you don't often hear for ordinary garage/storage shelving!).
