“Working with Jimmy Crisp and his associates was a great and valuable learning experience that could not have turned out better than it did. Jimmy truly met, and in many instances, went beyond our expectations. The project, which was a complete gut renovation, went very smoothly and it did come in on budget with the exception of new items that were included after our original quote. Of course there were differences of opinions and long discussions about changes/desired outcomes and new costs, however, I would say that because of Jimmy's constant presence at the site, complete knowledge of exactly what was suppose to happen at all stages of the project and calm manner we escaped situations that could, at the time, have been less satisfactory. Jimmy, the associates and clerical employees of his firm are all a 10 in my book! My experience with Crisp Architects makes me believe that anyone seeking a great architect, backed by a most professional staff, could not do better than to choose Crisp Architects.”

We were so happy with the remodel that we decided to add another bedroom and hired her again. She also helped finish our plans for a modern NJ vacation home. We would highly recommend her!”

“Without Jack my house would never have been built. We needed to tuck this little house into a narrow urban lot in a Historic District and make it look like it was always there. We survived 7! public hearings with heavy revision. Jack remained true to my original vision while accommodating the requirements of many other visions of what my house needed to be. His price was fair, his manner engaging and open. My house won an award and i gained a valued friend. He and and his staff are the best architectural firm ever.”

We needed a design solution to expand and define the dining room, provide privacy for a powder room and, yet, still maintain the sense of openness. Gary spent time brainstorming with us and was instrumental in giving us the perfect design solution, one we weren't even considering! “We hired Melissa to remodel our 1950's closed off kitchen with the end goal of opening up the space, adding more seating, and providing ample storage. She provided us with multiple renderings and was able to discuss the pros/cons of each while keeping our budget in mind. Once we decided which layout worked best, she helped me shop and keep in mind the "whole picture" rather than just focusing on small details. Her ability to visualize the finished project was invaluable because she saved me both time and money! Once construction began, she worked closely with the builder and subs to monitor the project. Our project finished both on-time and on-budget because of her dedication to our project. Our new kitchen is truly the heart of our home. It's both functional and beautiful and that is in large part due to Melissa. I highly recommend her!”
