About Us

Bespoke, beautiful art sourcing, art consultancy and art advice for private clients, interior designers, architects and stylists. I work on a one to one basis with private clients, interior designers, architects and stylists to source beautiful modern, contemporary and emerging art for homes and offices. A specialist in the contemporary art market with over 15 years experience, I take a design led approach to a brief. I may take inspiration from a colour scheme, a fabric or where you live - but the result is always a personal and bespoke art solution for you. As part of my service I also look at the existing artwork you own and see if we can make it fit or work more cohesively within your decor scheme. Often, all it takes is a change in the art curation, hang or framing to make your treasured artworks appear completely fresh and help you fall in love with them all over again. When I am not working for clients, I can be found trawling degree art shows, art fairs both here and abroad, artists' studios, museum art shows or commercial art galleries. I absolutely love art. I’m an art collector myself and it is this passion and personal interest that helps me do a great job for my clients. My valued clients know me as someone who can 'spot' emerging talent. Whilst I’ve picked some winners in the art world, I’ll always advise people that to buy what they love is the only real rule and help them to do so by guiding them through the process with my knowledge of the art market.

1. Advice on rehanging existing artwork in your new place. £150 plus VAT for a two hour consultation. 2. Art ideas for a space are £150 plus VAT for 10 ideas. I can work remotely - you can send me photos of the space and I can send ideas from my desk. 3. General art advice is charged at £75 plus VAT an hour. We can do accompanied shops to galleries, create a collecting strategy or go round an art fair together.

Louisa has advised us so well on so many aspects of the art for our new house. From gently preventing us from making (costly) mistakes to taking us around to artists' studios, introducing us to new artists, advising on size, shape and colour, sourcing (and overseeing) people to hang large and tricky items, picking perfect frames - she's done it all with unfailing good humour and enthusiasm. She's brilliant! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone wanting some good, solid art advice. Plus, she's really fun and informative to hang out with.

we've just started working with Louisa and have been hugely impressed so far. she is friendly, approachable, responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. we wanted help with hanging our art better and she had immediate suggestions and tips, and is now helping us pick out some new pieces to add to our collection. she is great at understanding what you like and then introducing you to things that meet that brief but also encouraging you to look a bit broader. she is also great fun - hanging out at the London art fair with her was a great way to spend the afternoon. we're looking forward to where we go next!

I was introduced to Louisa through a friend, and working with her has been a joyful and educative experience. We had a number of walls that were either blank or needed an update, and Louisa has efficiently and effectively completed the task within a few months; I only wish I’d engaged her sooner rather than wasting time trying to sort it all myself. Louisa’s real skill is in understanding the brief and showing you options that precisely match that, as well as others that she, with her very experienced eye, thinks might work. We were presented with a good amount of choice for each space, and in each case, having discussed the shortlists in detail with Louisa, we arrived at exactly what we were looking for (even if we hadn’t quite known what that was at the outset). Fun, mind-broadening and inspiring; I would highly recommend working with Louisa.

We hired Louisa to provide recommendations for a space in our bedroom. We loved Louisa’s recommendations that we ended up buying 3 pieces, rather than one! She filled our brief, had great ideas over a range of price points within our budget and helped us select pieces of art that work perfectly in the space but that we also love. It was a real pleasure to work with Louisa, and, not only that, fun! We now have a range of works in different media, which from our starting point last year would have been hard to imagine. We had never bought any art before so were total novices. Louisa patiently and diligently sent us many images and ideas. She organised studio visits, gallery visits, early openings, framing and hanging. We never felt pressured and Louisa dealt with our initially unsophisticated responses calmly and pragmatically.
