“I had the pleasure of working with Stephanie on an interiors project in the Back Bay. She faux painted a fireplace mantle and surround to look like marble. What an amazing job! Both the client and I were thrilled not only with the end result but also with how professional and neat her team was. We were on a tight schedule and Stephanie was able to meet our deadline while also making a beautiful focal point for the room. I look forward to working with Arteriors again! Diane- SLC Interiors”

“Isabelle is a joy to work with and creates the most beautiful arrangements. She recently put together six centerpieces for a wedding celebration for me. “My husband and I decided to raze our 90 year old lake cottage rather than try to convert the seasonal building to year round. In the process we also wanted a more practical design. Because of State of NH rules for lakefront residents we were restricted to two bedrooms we wanted to make sure our floor plan was done well. My husband had the necessary background to do the construction design but I knew if left to him we would have a very sturdy box as our new cottage. I wanted one with some aesthetic appeal as well as a practical design inside. Paul was recommended to us by a past client. We met with him and gave him ideas of what we would like. He was great about listening especially to my ideas. This property had been my parents summer home so I had spent 60 summers there. Some thing about the new cottage were very firm in my plans because of what I was used to or wanted in the new place. Paul was great at incorporating all of them. Very shortly after that initial meeting he had the first draft of the outdoors design and the floor plans. We were delighted. There were a few minor tweaks that had to be done but they were minor and within a month of our first meeting we were starting the new cottage. It was simple. We did not want anything too fussy. But it had beautiful classy touches that just made it so rich looking without making the building too expensive. We were on a budget but did not want the building to look it. And boy did his design fill that bill. It looks so chic and elegant. The proof of this has been the overwhelming compliments we have gottten on the place. Not one of our neighbors, friends, workmen or just strangers going by ever have anything but raving compliments. We have never gotten a “gee that is really nice”. It is alway “ Wow your cottage is just fabulous. I love the..... fill in here so many of the nice details Paul incorporated. We are on the waterfront so the first summer we got so many boats slowing by and giving us the thumbs up or actually stopping and telling us how beautiful it was we were starting to feel like celebraties. It has calmed down now but we are about to start the garage that was designed at the same time. I am excited to see the reaction to it. I am prejudiced but I think it will be a hit as well. Needle to say I can say nothing negative about hiring Paul if you need a home design. He has excellent taste, is pleasant to work with and we found his fees more than reasonable. If I needed design services again I would not hesitate to call him again.”
Studio 670

“Fran Trainor and his partner Bryan Graves of Studio 670 restored my daughter's Eames lounge chair and ottoman. The chair had been purchased by her grandfather in the 1960's and after many years of use was in need of repair before going to her new home. Fran took my call and diagnosed a broken shock mount, needed leather restoration, and suggested refinishing the original rosewood shell to restore the iconic chair to its former glory. I am glad I heeded his advice. I dropped a rather well loved and somewhat shabby chair at his Framingham MA shop and 6 weeks later received an amazingly restored chair. The broken arm had been seamlessly restored using new rubber shock mounts, the wood glowed, the leather was good as new, and yet the chair still looked vintage. As these chairs can sell for upwards of $4500, the cost of the restoration was well worth it. My daughter was thrilled and so was I.”

“As a designer, it's important for me to develop positive relationships with different trades. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Powers Gallery on different projects. In particular, I was scouting for art for a client and the staff at Powers was extremely helpful in assisting me. Their framing is top notch and they offer a variety of quality art pieces at different price points. Larry, the owner, is very knowledgeable and he has surrounded himself with skilled and extremely professional staff members (Evelyn and Elizabeth are always so helpful! ).”
