“We didn't end up hiring John Canty, but we probably should have! Our house is in need of a full gut job. John was very helpful and knowledgeable when he came in to look at our house. We ended up hiring another contractor, who we have since fired, because he worked with a friend a friend of ours. We should have known that you need to mesh with your GC and create good communication lines with them -- we learned quickly that just because a GC worked well with someone you know, it doesn't mean they'll work well with you! John was very upfront and honest about the costs and quality of the job we'd get, and we should have trusted our gut instinct to hire him! It's been 4 months and we're still waiting to get started on our house.”

“My kitchen was a high-quality cherry and in good condition but wanted the glamorous look of white cabinets. Jim showed us a sample of his work and we were surprised at how beautiful our kitchen could potentially look. The finish is a smooth, hard lacquer with a soft gorgeous sheen. Wendel and Javier worked very hard to be detailed yet the process was very quick...only about 3-4 days. Our kitchen is so glamorous and beautiful, people are amazed at the transformation! I would highly recommend Frankenstein again and again!”

“I asked Dan Martin and his team at Goguen Construction to design a plan to build an in-law apartment above my garage and over my kitchen and bathroom area. This area will consist of a living room, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. I also wanted to make some changes to my existing rooms in my house. This would include adding a master bedroom and bath and a walk-in closet. They listened to my concerns and worked with me to create the perfect plan for me. Dan was willing to come to the office and meet with me after working a full day to go over all the plans. Even after the plans were complete I had asked about moving one of the bedrooms to where the living room was going to be. Dan was very accommodating and reworked the design for me without hesitation. Brenda Hancock is their Kitchen and Bath Designer. She is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with and will make your living space a dream come true. She came up with great suggestions and ideas that I would have never thought of. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and efficient nature of his team. Their work on this design exceeded my expectations on all levels. It was a pleasure working with their team and I would highly recommend Goguen Construction to anyone that is looking to build or remodel their home.”

They can accomplish any style, any color, any design. They are masters in creative use of space. Installs are flawless, they have terrific attitudes from the first call thru the final install. “I am a designer based in Concord (Fresh Start Interiors) and have used Duane twice for built-ins in my own home. He is very talented and he delivers really beautiful finely made custom built-ins. I've had him do a banquette, bookcases, large entertainment center and mudroom cubbies. All were beautiful, well constructed and got many compliments. I have even used his stellar carpentry services to install kitchen cabinetry which he did not build - although he crafts gorgeous custom cabinets as well! Duane is a personable, fair and responsive professional who is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.”
