“We could not have asked for a better contractor than Hughes Carpentry. We really appreciated the professional, detail oriented, punctual service. The process of remodeling can be stressful and overwhelming (especially when you are doing several rooms), but with Hughes Carpentry they really broke it down into manageable steps that made the process enjoyable and the end result fabulous! When I was having difficulty finding kitchen cabinets that I liked, I showed Benjamin a picture from a magazine to help him understand the style I was trying to achieve. He was able to not only understand the concept but build the cabinets matching the style perfectly- in the wood, design and finish we wanted. Everyone who sees our kitchen has said how blown away they are by the results (for us it is a dream come true!) In an age where professionalism and integrity are often difficult to find in contractors, Hughes Carpentry showed us that they do indeed exist. Our job was completed beyond our expectations with a clean up at the site each day. Who could ask for any more than that?”

We were able to go to the shop and see it in process as well. We plan on having them back to our house to design and build a new mantle in the near future!”

“Jim custom built library type book cases in our sun room. We described to him what we wanted and he immediately went to work. He came back with sketches so we could approve his plan, and they were just what we were looking for. Jim built them in a timely fashion and carefully installed them in one day. We absolutely love our built in units, people come to our house and say they look like they were built when the room was. We are planning on Jim making us a custom vanity for our master bath this month, we would highly recommend Jim.”

“I just completed a renovation in a Chicago apartment and chose Vida for our custom cabinetry. the kitchen is fresh and fabulous in a soft putty color and built exactly to my specifications. We also added a tall cabinet in the master bath in a high gloss light gray and it is absolutely stunning.
