“We obtained three quotes to have two built-in cabinets in the living room and two built-in wardrobes in one of the bedrooms. West London Carpentry initially was not the most competitive but because I liked Tim's manner, I wanted to West London Carpentry to do the work. Tim agreed to an adjustment to the quote and we instructed them to commence work. Timelines were shared with us throughout the works and these were adhered to. The carpenter did a great job and had the initiative to pick cornicing in keeping with the decor of our flat. The painter also did a fantastic job, so much so that we have asked for a quote to do other jobs in the flat. I would certainly recommend West London Carpentry for the expertise and professional manner in the way they conducted the works.”

“Uncommon Projects custom-made plywood shelving and cupboards to store/display vinyl records, whilst incorporating a media unit for turntable, TV etc. The process was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. I loved sitting-down with the extremely talented Alan Drumm and working through the designs over several iterations. Requirements would change as the design evolved, and Alan was brilliant at incorporating these tweaks into the plans. Nothing was too much trouble. The site survey was equally amazing. The project team laser-mapped the room, as the design was purpose-built to fit in the space between two chimney breasts and then wraparound a decommissioned fireplace. Amazingly the painstaking efforts at this stage managed to compensate for the sloping floor and uneven, bulging Victorian brickwork, such that everything in the finished product was level to within a fraction of a millimetre. The installation was quick and completely hassle-free, with the pieces being pre-cut to order and finished and assembled onsite, thus causing the minimum of disruption. The room was cleaner and tidier once they'd finished the job that it was before they started! I cannot recommend Uncommon Projects highly enough. They did an amazing job, and I couldn't be more happy with the end result.”
