Clive Anderson Bespoke Furniture

We have used Gary and his team before, to totally renovate the office. All new ceiling to floor carpentry, decorating and electrics. They have just completed another project for us. Great workmanship, friendly, on time, clean and very helpful. Will no doubt be using them again!

Clive Anderson Furniture were a pleasure to work with from start to end. We met with several kitchen companies, from high street brands to other Bespoke suppliers, and their approach from the first meeting made them our top choice! They were easy to work with to create the kitchen of our dreams, taking our own ideas and adding expert knowledge to upgrade and improve every element. We are now looking to work with them again on some built in wardrobes due to the excellent quality of the finished product in the kitchen.

What a pleasure it was to get box room fitted by Clive Anderson, they did fitted wardrobes, cabin bed and dressing table and made good use of the small space that we had. It looks so lovely now. They were so helpful in getting the room designed and very professional in installing. They are so friendly and i knew i could trust them. I would highly recommend and i must admit i am a difficult customer so if they can please me then they can please anyone. Cannot thank Oana and Gary and all the workman enough.

The planning side of the work was good. They came round to survey and price up the work we requested. Oana in the office was pretty good at keeping us up to date with progress once we’d placed the order and paid the deposit. The fitters arrived in the morning and started work. Then they told my wife they didn’t have the shelves as there was a mistake in the workshop. So we had a bit of tooing and frowing with that, plus they disappeared and didn’t know if they were coming back. but we finally got the shelves fitted a few days after the carcasses were installed of the bookshelves. All in all the quality is good, but not great in my opinion. Also, workmanship the same. We had a couple of very rough finishes on the sprayed carcass of the bookshelves which were different to the other areas. A big pain for me was that one bookshelf was installed over the entrance point where my BT and Sky cable come in. So it’s down to me to cut an access hole in the carcass so I can get to them in the future. Which I think should be done by the fitters. They also covered up two electrical points with our bookshelves. One double socket was provided in one bookcase, but just some twin and earth was provided in the other one. I’m assuming this is connected to the old socket and it’s down to me to install a new socket in the bookshelf. Finally, they almost, but not quite, covered an electrical socket on the adjacent wall to one of the bookshelves. The socket was removed, but not filled or made good. Again, down to me is that? Either include the make good in the price, or plan to construct the bookshelf so it covers the socket completely at the survey stage. So all in all, we found Clive Anderson ok. I just think there could have been a bit more care taken during fitting and a bit more pride in the work to make a good job a very good job.

I have now used Clive Anderson twice - initially for some bespoke understairs storage and secondly for some fitted wardrobes. I originally found them on Houzz so I was sceptica about using someone who had not been personally recommended. Although they were the most expensive option both times, I chose them because of how Gary actually provide a genuinely bespoke solution. There were no standard sized doors or frames we needed to work with - they built every single piece of wood to fit the space rather so that we now have such a great use of the space. No pressure tactics were used and we made several changes during the planning phase which were never received with a negative reaction. The finish and build quality are fantastic and when we had an issue with our first build - they returned to correct it without question. I would highly recommend Gary and Oana

Contracted Clive Anderson furniture to install bespoke wardrobes in my master bedroom . Gary and Iona exceeded my expectations!!! I am extremely satisfied with my new wardrobes .

Gary made us a beautiful oak veneer units and a tv cabinet, all exactly to spec. Gary was very patient and helpful with all our questions and when fitting the furniture, Gary and his colleague were extremely tidy and considerate. I would highly recommend.
