“Amy and Lewis have contributed immeasurably to the Character of my carefully crafted home. Although the remodel I undertook was substantially complete before their involvement, I quickly realized their potential for advancing my fingerprint on my custom home. Amy started early by linking up a perfect 10 year old (fully dried) chunk of redwood for installation as a mantle for my stone fireplace. (I had been searching for 9 months and she swiftly "rang the bell" linking me up with what turned out to be the perfect addition.) Lewis made the redwood chunk come to life with Amy's clever design of iron bands wrapped around opposite ends of the mantle with bold matching custom tacs of iron, giving the substantial piece the image of solidity and antiquity. Next, Amy started at the master bedroom, which I thought was largely complete before I met her. Wrong. She set out to design a wall unit made of knotty alder to match the dominant theme of "woody bedroom". The original idea was to hide the flat screen on one wall. This she developed into an entire unit that Lewis crafted in three pieces with mobile rolling doors to hide the screen when not in use flanked by shelves on either side, above which is a backlit artistic recess, all situated atop a table that houses eight disappearing drawers, a tie rack and hidden retractable laundry baskets. Fabulous upgrade from what I thought was a finished bedroom. I interact with this multipurpose design daily with great joy.”

“Classic Inc. ~ Is an amazing company with professionals who follow thru with their time lines and assist designers like myself to insure the best quality for "our" clients. I have used this company since 1991. They personally did my custom 4000sq ft home and the results still to this day are amazing. Would I suggest using Classic, Absolutely! Competitive pricing with amazing quality. If this is the result you are looking for, give them a call!! Why wait!”

“I was as satisfied as can be with my new kitchen. Betty helped me with my design and helped me pick out tile and my mural. The workers were there early every day and cleaned up at the end of the day. it took the amount of time they said it would. it was a really easeful renovation, with Betty showing me a countertop and cabinets and I loved it all. I can't say enough good things about this company.”

Dickinson also has an amazing showroom that is a real asset to my clients. I can send them to meet with Mike where he can review door styles, materials, finishes, colors and answer any questions they might have about what their new cabinets will look like. I have worked with Mike and his shop on a half dozen projects ranging from full kitchens to small bathroom vanities and I look forward to continuing to work with him on projects to come.”

“Rand designed and oversaw the manufacture & installation of three kitchens in three homes for us for the last 20 years. It was perfection each time, and such a delight to work with Rand. In our current home, he handled the kitchen and also the china cabinet, entertainment center, the baths, interiors of closets and more. He worked beautifully with the other trades and his product came in on time and on budget. I'm a total fan!!”

“Erwan built custom cabinets for our 1922 small Berkeley kitchen, which had last been redone in probably the 1940s. We wanted to keep some period details in the design while adding modern convenience and more storage and counter space. The cabinets are amazing. He meticulously matched odd little details by hand. This was especially important because we kept our old pantry & one set of upper cabinets. The new cabinets are sturdy & very well-installed. From his first visit Erwan listened carefully to our needs & desires. He made very good suggestions but never tried to impose his preferences on us. He built and installed on time & on budget. He is flexible about working with other workers in our house. He's also been good about taking on a couple of smaller jobs not in the original description, from a small window sill to the interior of a new closet in another part of the house. When we were first thinking about this project I spent time looking at stock & semi-custom cabinets. The overall cost for our new cabinets is comparable to good quality semi-custom & the result is so much more satisfying. Not only is the appearance just right, but we were able to customize sizing for some particular dishes.”
