“Very down-to-earth, Scott took great time to get to know us and our tastes (rustic, coastal country living) in furnishings and space use. He stayed on schedule and under budget (we do not have electric or plumbing requirements and I got the hardware from one of the big home DIY box stores). He took my design preferances on board and worked them into his final product beautifully (like putting in tin tile detailing on some of the cupboard doors paneling). For a custom piece, the kitchen island is a great investment.”

“I chose Kitchensmith for my kitchen remodel because my mother and my sister had such good experiences working with Chad Smith for projects of their own and found him enjoyable to work with. Chad worked for another company before starting his own Cabinetry and Design company and that's where we initially met him. “Kristin helped us design both our kitchen and master bath while building our new house. We came to her with some preliminary ideas which she took and refined with us, challenging us to think of many elements we had not considered. Our design was somewhat complex with a number of challenging architectural elements to work around and she took those all in consideration very effectively. Perhaps what we appreciated most was the way she worked with a particular cabinet supplier that allowed us to purchase very high quality cabinets (Conestoga) for significantly less than other cabinet manufacturers by buying them as kits and assembling them ourselves (or with our carpenters). We estimate that the $20,000 we spent on the cabinets would have easily cost double if they came pre-assembled. However, this required Kristen to very carefully order all the right components to make sure everything fit; she even took the time to teach us how to build them herself. Our kitchen gets rave reviews from everyone who visits and we find it highly functional and pleasant to cook and entertain in, having been there now over a year. As a final mark of success, the kitchen was chosen by Netflix to be in the set for an upcoming series that will air in 2019 and will be in 6 or 7 different episodes!”
