I was absolutely delighted with my kitchen that was installed and designed by Edmondson's Interiors! From the initial consultation to the final installation I received professional and friendly service from them - I was able to work with Simon and Richard on the design and their ideas were both up to date yet workable. Their eye for detail is second to none and every knife and fork pot and pan had its place - it was wonderful! Every day I have to pinch myself that I have such a gorgeous and workable kitchen - it is an absolute pleasure to cook and entertain in there! And not forgetting the after care service which has been amazing - cannot fault this wonderful company!

Comment from Edmondson Interiors:
Thanks Helen. You are being very modest because your eye for colour and your choice of furnishings drove a large part of the design for this superb living space. Thanks for the opportunity to work with you on this project.

Our refurb project took 4 years from start to (nearly) finish, encountering pretty much every hurdle you can imagine. The team at Edmondson were with us all the way - how they put up with us remains a mystery! 34 design revisions later we have the kitchen of our dreams.
Simon - our designer was nothing short of amazing. He understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and why (every time we changed our mind!) - he helped guide us as to what would work best in the space, had common sense and reasoning behind every recommendation - for example how many steps from the prep area to the hob, how far you can reach over a work surface, which way an oven door will open and so on - there is a fine line between giving the customer what they think they want and letting them make expensive mistakes. Simon was not going to let us make mistakes, and as a result we have this amazing kitchen.
Specifically, we wanted three separate zones - a food prep area which was "enclosed" (an island is nice, but people tend to come the wrong side and get in the way I find - and kids run around them etc etc), a "cleaning area" where the dirty dishes land and what we call the breakfast cupboard which does exactly what you'd expect. It all works perfectly.
One of the main things we noticed as part of the design phase was that the guys never said "not possible" or "no" - the team were always happy to explore possibilities, put some ideas together and then we would come to a reasonable decision. Thats rare, and it makes the whole process fun. It also means you understand the design, you understand how the kitchen should work.
Installation wise, the team were excellent and a pleasure to have around - we had issues with regards plumbing which were down to the builders who prepped the area (or not was was the case), but the Edmonsdon team overcame these issues themselves, solved the problems and got on with it rather than pointing the finger at another trade which can be frustrating, tiresome and disappointing.
These guys won the "contractor of the year" award from us 5 years in a row. Constantly polite, constantly helpful, endlessly patient, great design ideas, amazing product, flawless execution and we're all still friends at the end of it.
The only disappointment was when the project was over - the kitchen design process with Simon was the enduring highlight of the whole renovation project - pretty much the only part I have fond memories of!
Having been through this a couple of times now, I now understand the difference between the top end high street chain approach and what Edmondson offer, and it is rather like "made to measure" versus "tailor made". Made to Measure is where an existing unit is modified to fit. Tailor Made or Bespoke is where the unit is designed from scratch for that singular purpose and without the intention of re-use. The top end high street chains will happily take your money and sell you a "bespoke kitchen" when perhaps its actually "made to measure" - they'll build you some "bespoke" cupboards to fit your space and you chose the worktop colour and appliances.... and thats good for some folks. Edmondson don't do this - they do much, much more. Before they manufacture your "bespoke kitchen", they "tailor the design" to fit your needs and your space - the result is a genuinely bespoke, unique, hand made kitchen without compromise. If you want a kitchen where the design is truly "tailored" to you an your needs, and the manufacturing is genuinely "bespoke", then Edmondson are the guys for you. Go see the workshop - a tree goes in on the left, a kitchen comes out on the right!
Recommendation? God yes, 11 out of 10, 6 stars not 5. They are the Oscar Winning, Olympic Gold Medal holders of the kitchen world.
Would I use them again - no question - I can't wait!!

Bespoke designed and made a kitchen for my home in the Autumn of 2012. The whole process was very professional. The design was spot on for our home and the build quality was outstanding. The design of the kitchen has made excellent use of the space available and is perfect for family life.
All the workmen (fitters, painters, plumbers etc ) were of a very high standard as were all the staff we worked with at Bespoke.
I would highly recommend them and although they are not cheap they are well worth it.
