What's the most annoying thing your partner does?
Comments (29)Discussing new car, holidays, redecorating and then just doing what he wants. Why waste time asking my opinion when the decision is already made? Also gets take-away coffee every morning to drink at home. When finished, he picks up cup + leaves it beside the sink? He walks past the recycle bin ( where it belongs) + places on counter above rubbish bin. Dunno. It baffles me. Think I should have been a Time + Motion Officer or Productivity Manager or whatever they're called today. BUT he brings me a cup of Kenyan tea in a china cup every morning in bed....See MoreWhat's the most important thing a kitchen should have?
Comments (60)Work top space, lots of storage and soft close hinges.......... oh, and one of these....its basically a cool tool that allows you to erm...... take the corn off the cob!!! its really handy, i used to do it manually, piece by piece........See MoreWhat's your most useful kitchen appliance?
Comments (24)Can't imagine my kitchen without a coffee machine. Morning coffee is the best start of the day, I can drink three cups a day. I have found one under 200$ and it's perfect for one cup (I am the only one who drinks coffee here): https://mykitchenadvisor.com/best-espresso-machine-under-300/ I prefer the ones that heat milk by themselves, without manual control....See MoreDo I get a Hot/Cold instant water tap in kitchen?
Comments (13)We had that choice when we fitted our new kitchen and categorically decided that it (in our specific situation) was a bad idea to have. It all depends on your situation though. We have young kids, we have young nieces/nephews and also 'elderly' relations. We decided that the majority of people using our house, who may wish to wash their hands, or rinse a cup out by hand would just turn on a tap and stick their hands under. Trying to re-educate both the young and the old not to use this tap when everyone has grown up with, and are used to, warm water coming out of the hot tap just wasn't going to be possible. Also, I don't really see the point of them (I view them as a nice to have) - I've always used a kettle for boiling water for drinks - I actually like the 5 minutes standing doing absolutely nothing waiting for the kettle to boil. As for the spuds, or pasta - mehh, I'm never in that much of a rush to have it done 5 minutes quicker than letting a pan boil....See MoreDee Alexander
