“At Studio Spice we worked with Jonathan De Friend to source 400 sq m of flooring and staircase cladding for a large private residential renovation project. We were looking for something contemporary but organic. He found for us a bespoke wall to wall planks solution, using high grade ash, that was engineered in the UK, so with minimal carbon footprint. He liaised between us and the mill, oversaw installation, was excellent in coordinating timelines and installation conditions with the main contractor and made great suggestions for smaller details, such as threshold detailing and position of cuts. He also stayed in touch for a great after sales service and snagging. We will certainly be working with Jonathan again.”

“The quality of the products from Reclaimed Flooring is exceptional. We have just laid a Rainshadow french oak and it exceeds our expectation. It makes the renovation of the kitchen and living area complete. The staff at Reclaimed Flooring are a pleasure to deal with. One word of warning. If you live in an apartment you'll need strong arms to carry the planks in from the trailer that delivers them.”

“Woodcraft fitted my European oak smoked black flooring. Mursel and his team were extremely professional, polite, friendly and trustworthy from the point of choosing the flooring, getting a competitive quote, fitting the flooring and the aftercare. Mursel was knowledged and proud of his work and the materials used were of high quality and the fitting was faultless which reflects in my high recommendation of them. I am absolutely thrilled with the floor years later. Woodcraft come in yearly to do a maintenance service to the floor which looks as good as it did when new. The maintenance was done quickly and thoroughly and the floors look stunning.”

“I selected Christian's company to replace the flooring in our loft apartment in a 200 year old building in the old Woolwich Arsenal. From the start he was extremely helpful, had good ideas and provided samples. They ripped up the old flooring to find a disaster beneath with lots of logistical problems, miles out of level, different levels, lack of insulation, plumbing issues etc. . Nothing seemed beyond them and the guys on site were always there early and left when it made sense to rather than on the dot. They solved every problem and laid a truly beautiful solid wood floor with a tiled area in the kitchen. We were absolutely delighted with the outcome which is now totally in keeping with its surrounding's, and the curved join between kitchen and living area was all Christian's idea and perfectly executed. Throughout the job Christian was always on top of things and he kept me informed. His team were extremely tidy, professional and keen to help. I would have absolutely no hesitation to use them again and recommend them. They even fixed my creaky Berkley fitted staircase.... A pleasure to do business with them and the price was competitive.”

“We have had an oak kitchen floor refreshed and re-stained to 'better than new' by Eric from Surrey Flooring Services for c £500. More recently we commissioned them to rip out the carpets and restore the pine floor boards of the ground floor of our large detached 'arts and crafts' late Victorian house. This involved some complex plank matching and replacements, infilling the gaps between the planks quite apart from a total re-sanding , staining and sealing - all executed with great attention to detail at short notice, on time and on budget for c £4,500. We strongly recommend them.”

“I used ah peck flooring to re floor the entire downstairs of our home after a personal recommendation from a friend. The service from start to finish was great- from the office manager through to the floor fitters themselves. The whole process was explained to me very clearly at the start and the owner was very accommodating with my many questions! Theres a vast choice of flooring in the showroom and the owner, Corey, talked me through all the different options before we decided on a final product. I'm extremely happy with the finish of the floor- particularly as there were some quite complicated areas to work around. The workmen were also very friendly and clearly very capable. Highly recommend the company- great service and I'm extremely happy with the final result Hannah Sent from my iPhone”
