“After living in my home for twenty-four years I decided that it was time for a major update! During the Renomark open house tour I met Dan Hillson of Hillson Homes. Had to the opportunity to view one of their projects which was very impressive. Immediately, I had a great 1st impression about Hillson Homes being a highly reputable company. Shortly thereafter, within four months I had an amazing new home! The whole process was seamless and a very enjoyable experience. They have a strategy in place to ensure the expectations of their clients are met or exceeded! Every detail of the project was thoroughly reviewed prior to proceeding so that no misunderstandings occurred (ie. supplier quotes, design drawings of ensuite shower, ensuite closet, and built-ins around the fireplace). this was achieved threw excellent on-going open communication (even while I was out of the country for one month, I received weekly e-mails updating me ), methodical process for preconstruction /product selections, and very knowledgeable and amiable project managers(Luke and Mike). With their organizational skill sets the project was completed under the allotted timeframe. Behind the scenes , Keri- Dawn fulfils a key administrative role pertaining to product selections. The expertise (recommendations) and workmanship (installation)by the various subtrades and suppliers was superb. Any deficiencies were readily rectified within the 1st month. On a monthly basis I received detailed reports regarding the work completed and an analysis of the costs incurred in relation to the proposed budget. I went over budget largely due to my product selections and additional work that I had requested. I am very grateful to each member of the Hillson team (Dan, Keri-Dawn, Luke, Mike and Dave) for their instrumental roles to facilitating my renovation project!”

“We recently took possession of our new home here in Calgary, designed and built by sk2. We have to say we were thoroughly impressed by the overall design where modern architecture has met function. Looking at many places throughout the city, sk2's home struck us as one of the highest build qualities and most innovative designs (forward thinking, clean lines and organic feel, but not so radical that it sacrifices the fundamentals of a highly functional space). The fixtures and interior choices were top knotch, and more importantly we can tell there have been limited compromises in the quality of the structure itself. We also appreciate the attention to detail and additional touches of the latest home technologies (such as including an HRV, toe-vac, water filter, sound systems, cat5e, etc...). Bottom line is we have felt that Kishan and team have made every effort not just to sell a product, but design and build a home that they would be excited and proud to live in themselves. “We hired Mike this summer to design and build a 2 level deck for us. The drop between the two decks was 4 feet, and we could not think of an elegant way to design the stairs so that they both looked good and didn't take up too much space. When Mike arrived to have a look at the space and give us a quote, he suggested that we round the stairs and have them fan out instead of just doing straight stairs. It was such a great idea as it made a beautiful transition from one area to the next. Mike also created a very nice privacy "wall" on the upper deck with louvers that can be opened or closed to let more or less light in. We are thrilled with the final product! We found Mike so easy to work with. His knowledge and craftsmanship is outstanding and his pricing is very fair. We would recommended Mike without hesitation!”
