“The kitchen Bogdan created for us is the prettiest kitchen I have ever had. I just pinch myself that it is ours, and that I get to cook in it every day. We live in a 1902s vintage condominium that has some beautiful details, and he created a kitchen as gracious as the property deserves. He helped us with the design, he listened to our wants and needs and helped us find the finishes, and even when he ran into a challenge (every single wall was cement) he never made us feel like anything was a problem. As we changed our mind on things, and added on air conditioning, and then a bathroom redo, he kindly performed beautiful work. His team was wonderful to have in our home- even taking care of our elderly dog when he needed it. This was just all so.....easy. And the results so beautiful. As Bogdan once told us, being good isn't enough. He wanted the work he did to be perfect. And we think it is.”

“We changed contractors after starting our remodeling project with an addition and hired Illinois Design and Builders. Darius was able to jump right in and take over. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate the fact that he is flexible to changes we make from the blueprints and he is able to give us insight from his experience. The overall project has been pleasant working with him, he is always on time to meet with us and communicates well (our other contractor would take days to respond to a call or email).”

Slawek worked well with the building, was timely, helpful, communicative and met all of my expectations. I was managing this project/water damage from afar, and Slawek took care of every last detail. “Frank is just fantastic. His vision of ideas, eye for detail are honestly incredible. My regret is I didn't have him build me a house from start to finish. After admiring his work for many years in the Fox Valley I met him and his team and had them do a few projects. I highly recommend ON Edge Design & Construction in St. Charles, IL . You will not be disappointed and you will have unique features and a workmanship you will enjoy for many years. HIs creativity is endless. The most recent use of barn doors, custom designs, barn beams, cabinetry, woodworking, amazing ceiling designs, doors, etc..... are just stunning.”

They understand design, and are as comfortable in a mid-century house as a Frank Lloyd Wright or E. E. Roberts. Since all the craftsmen they hire are of the finest caliber, they are not cheap, but nor are they inflated; their initial budget projections typically are very realistic, never "lowball." The important thing to know is that when they are done, the new work will seamlessly tie in to the old, and the work will last.”
