“We are totally happy with the results of our kitchen re-do by Berceli. We are in a NYC Classic 6 with a good-sized galley kitchen. We are that NYC rarity, in that we cook almost every night. We were perfectly content with the kitchen footprint, but it sadly needed an upgrade. The estimate we got from the project manager, Samir, was not cheap, but totally accurate. There were no surprises. The designer somehow managed to not only create a beautiful kitchen, but somehow got us a lot more storage in the same space...I still can't figure out how. Cindi helped us with the fine details as colors and backsplash, which added to the overall look. Were there glitches along the way? Of course there were, as you don't tear out a complete kitchen without having some problems. However, Berceli was immediately responsive, answering emails and calls very promptly if something didn't look right. i would hire them again without question.”

He maintains a list of professionals who perform jobs within related specialties including electricians, plumbers and painters, for example. His estimates are fair, and there are no hidden costs. If extra materials are required he discusses this beforehand with the customer as the need arises so you are well-aware and may consent or decline extra materials or labor. He and his coworkers clean up the work area at the end of each day and are never " no shows", which is a common issue with other contractors I used in the past. The existing cabinets were in excellent condition and we wanted to reuse and add more cabinets in some areas. “David and Megan were terrific to work with throughout my renovation: They worked with me through a few kitchen iterations until we found a great open layout that permitted full size appliances, were always highly available and responsive and worked with me until we found a solution that I as thrilled by throughout the process. The work speaks for itself, and my friends and family are all really impressed by the renovation. In a really nice surprise, David and Megan 'discovered' several square feet of space that could be reclaimed in my apartment by removing non-structural elements around the structural parts. They integrated the space really nicely which created a nook by the sink, a deeper pantry, and additional built-in storage in the living room. They also handled an oddly positioned gas line which couldn't be moved in a really nice way, turning it into additional storage and counter space by the stove. When it was discovered that my apartment had heat loss issues (This was due to windows which the coop will replace in the spring) they adapted their design incorporating larger replacement radiators which are keeping the space nice and toasty as winter is approaching. David’s team did everything very well, but the thing that has impressed me the most has been their commitment to getting everything right, even when minor surprises have come up months after I moved in, and long after I'd submitted my final payment.”
