From the first meeting with the project manager ( Nick), we could see that this was going to be a positive experience. Nick worked with us to design something that was both structurally superior and surprisingly affordable. In fact, we were so impressed with the workmanship that we hired them again a few months later to replace our porch. If you are looking for quality work at a competitive price , then look no further. “Mike is intelligent and an excellent planner. He is also an excellent GC. We were really stumped trying to explain our vision to a parade of "guys". Many wanted to "cherry pick" making the $$ on purchase of fixtures etc for our complete master bath/laundry room gut & remodel. Some didn't communicate well. Some didn't seem to want to take questions or suggestions. Mike is great! Mike helped us utilize existing floor space, and understood we were trying to stick to a budget. He was fine with us sourcing fixtures online. Mike personally installed all of our marble tile, and came up with an option to save us $ on shower build. He and/or a sub were here every day until project complete. Mike is returning this month bc we plan to hire him again!”

“I hired Classic Building & Design Company to configure shelving in my dining room closet to fit specific needs. I hired them because a couple of years ago they had done extensive work in my 100 year old New Englander which included a new kitchen, two bathrooms and an upstairs laundry room, plus upgrading electrical and heating system. They did a truly great job. Always took time to discuss problem-solving, made sensitive and practical suggestions and listened carefully to my ideas and concerns. The outcome was much better than anything I could have imagined on my own just because they have so much experience and knowledge of available materials.”

“I hired Ray to order and install a new custom size front door. The job was not straightforward because we did not want to touch the interior trim at all. After measuring and ordering the door (this took a while because of how long the door company took to get it to us) Ray then installed the door in one day. He worked steadily and quietly with no wasted time talking or taking breaks. When he left the door was in and beautiful and everything was cleaned up so you couldn't tell he had even been there. Thank you Ray!”

“Mark Ratte and his crew remodeled our kitchen, half bath and foyer in our home two years ago. This is the second kitchen that this team of professionals has completed for our family. Marks guys and all of his subcontractors are extremely professional, meticulous, and respectful. Mark is organized and stays on budget and on schedule. If anything unexpected comes up he is very good about explaining the situation, and coming up with solutions. Since Ratte Construction completed our work, I have referred him to MANY of my friends and acquaintances who have all had an equally positive experience.”
