We were on a relatively tight budget and Todd was open to thinking through significant issues and allowing us to do some work on our own. We were quite happy with the work done”

“In my capacity as a kitchen and bath designer, I often have the opportunity to supply my clients with names of contractors to interview. I have worked with April Bettinger of Nip Tuck Remodeling many times. We recently finished a kitchen expansion and remodel late in 2012 that turned out beautifully. I like working with Nip Tuck because the company has an extremely high level of customer service and satisfaction. April’s construction teams are easy to work with and communicate seamlessly with my company, Provanti Designs, whenever there is a design or material installation question. This is so helpful for homeowners who want to stay on time and on budget. Nip Tuck establishes a thorough quote upfront that extensively covers the entire remodel project so that there are no surprises with the budget/quote as work progresses. And best of all, April develops a detailed project calendar that specifies which trades are doing what work on a daily basis along with stated weekly construction goals. Nip Tuck finishes their projects on time, with quality work and satisfied homeowners. And that is why I tell my design clients that they need to do themselves a favor and talk with April Bettinger of Nip Tuck Remodeling about their remodel project.”

“I worked with Bakken Design Build to build a new three-story (attic on the top floor) home and garage from an existing foundation (garage has new foundation poured). The owner, Joel, was insightful during the planning and design phases, taking the time to meet me and discuss any questions or requests I had. He had great ideas and was able to plan well, also having given advice on living areas that I would not have thought about. During construction, the Bakken Design Build staff were very friendly and helpful. There were no problems with me stopping by the project site to asking questions or just checking out the work. Design or material choices were always offered with dollar amounts, preventing surprises. Overall, this company was a pleasure to work with, taking the project from start to completion. I've been living in the home for several months now, and it's a lovely place to be. The design aesthetics often get complements from passerby's and neighbors.”

“We have the distinction of living in the first home Ben designed, and we’ve been in it for 10 years now. Faced with the thrilling prospect of being able to build a house, quickly collided with indecision; exciting possibilities vs. economics. Ben had the patience to design three totally different floor plans, and worked honestly with us through the realities of each design, keeping in mind our limited budget. We built on family land across the river from the house I grew up in, and could not be happier with the outcome. We absolutely owe it all to Ben for making our dream come true. “I hired JML Design to design a backyard cottage. This had been a dream of mine for some time and I met Jean-Marc LeRoy in passing and when I learned he was an architect, I mentioned my vision to have a back yard cottage built, but was in no hurry to start. What I really appreciated was that a few months later, he circled around to check in to see what my progress was and if I was still interested in having this done. As a busy business owner with 100's of things jockeying for my attention, I really needed this follow up. After checking out his website that showed some of his previous projects, I saw that his aesthetic was what I was looking for. We met for a consultation, a site preview and then a proposal was presented. This was my first time working with an architect, but I found his breakdown to be thorough and very reasonable. Another thing that I really appreciated about Jean-Marc is his ability to listen. He was able to take my ideas and turn it into something more than I imagined, adding things that represented my style and ideas. Jean-Marc has magnificent talent as well as connection to resources and experts in the field. I would recommend him to my closest friends and feel confident that he would deliver his best.”

A year later we still have people stopping by our house asking where we got the materials and design. Like any big project, not everything went perfectly, but Axiom worked hard to correct any problems.”

“Karen designed a complete inside and out remodel of our 40+ year old 3400 sq-ft home on Bainbridge Island. She also hired and supervised the work of a group of outstanding subcontractors. The job was completed in a timely manner at on budget. Karen was great to work with. She listened to our ideas and then transformed them into plans that proved to be better than we hoped. We whole heartedly recommend her and she will get our call if we ever tackle this kind of project again.”

“After much deliberation we chose Riddle Design and Construction. Our decision to choose them centered around their commitment to quality. We did not want any surprises and were not disappointed. Their knowledge of the current architectural style of our home and the builder eliminated any surprises. Our goal was to make our current kitchen a more efficient and inviting entertainment space while keeping with the traditional style of the home. Their design suggestions were accepted and we are very pleased with the final outcome.”
