“Balma Building Services were brilliant for our house refurbishment in Hither Green, Lewisham. It was my Wife and I's first house refurbishment, so was close to our heart to succeed. Joe Stammers is very personal, with a great "Get the Job done" mentality and commercial reasoning gets the project to work for his clients. I work for a major London residential property developer and think the quality of finish was fantastic. I would highly recommend Balma Building Services.”

She focussed on how we could maximise an unused side garden to be a useable, extension to the central lounge. “So we accepted Brendan's Fixed price quote to come and put the finishing touches/corrections to our complete house renovation. This involved rendering and detailing the new porch and relaying the pathway. Modernising the 1980s bin store to accept taller modern bins whilst making a sliding door from scratch. Refurb the garage including replaster paint and fitting a kitchen at the back of it . Then various small projects such as putting new fencing up. All jobs undertaken with real attention to detail - The guys even got our Jacuzzi bath working - researching a spare part one evening, ordering it and fitting it - something that was beyond our plumbing supplier for 6 months. So the team had all the skills, brilliant attitude and communication - every day checking we were happy and on Schedule and that the site was spotless. Payment of the fixed price at the end was frankly a joy - this is how all building projects should run and I am delighted to recommend Nicholas James.”

“We used these guys for a kitchen conversion and full garden digout & build. They were brilliant throughout, very trustworthy and quick to react, managed our expectations well. Unexpected extras were no problem and they were always the lowest quote when shopping around. We ended up with a great finish. These guys are mostly Lithuanians and probably the hardest workers I've ever seen, almost embarrassing, I asked my kid not to watch them so that he's not disappointed in my own efforts.”

“One year on from the completion of our single-storey side-return extension (approx 58m2) including internal work. We now have a much improved well-insulated house with underfloor heating to the whole of the new extension. A large kitchen/dining area has been created with a large roof lantern over the island in the kitchen. Plus a super downstairs shower room with W/C and separate utility room with futuristic touch-screen boiler and electric flat opening roof above. Additionally we had a chimney breast removed from one of the bedrooms above. We are extremely pleased both with the high standard of work and attention to detail. We found Archie to be very approachable, quick to respond to any of our many and varied questions and would be happy to employ him in the future.”
