“I'm happy to give Scott Curtice my strongest positive recommendation. Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”

“My wife and I needed a kitchen renovation and we were referred to Bertola Custom Homes by a friend. Joe came to our house shortly after we contacted his company to provide us with an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and that included removing two structural walls to open up our floor plan. The job was big and very complex, however Joe was able to design the alteration on the spot and 3 days after we met the walls were gone. Because the new design asked for a window relocation, we also had them repair some rotten woodwork on the exterior and paint the entire house. It was very impressive how quickly he managed to come up with drawings from an Engineer, the building permits and begin the work. Everything went very smoothly. The crew moved and protected the furniture as well as the floors. They were friendly, worked very hard, and the site was kept super clean at all times. We also liked the air filter that they provided. It helped to control all the dust from getting everywhere. The final product is amazing. Joe takes real pride of his work. We appreciate his professionalism, work ethic, honesty and positive attitude. It has been amazingly easy dealing with Joe and his team. All of them are super nice and fun to be around. We are extremely happy with all the work and are already on his busy schedule for remodeling four of our bathrooms in the fall. Highly recommend.”

It was not a small project - we added a full bathroom, forced air/AC, changed the floor plan, redid the floors and did a brand new kitchen. Lee was there every step of the way - from designing a new floor plan to selecting the appropriate countertop for the space to putting the finishing touches together. “I hired Adams + Beasley to build a built-in dining area off my kitchen (with seating and storage) and a built-in bench off of my entryway. They were incredibly pleasant and professional to work with. Their work was efficient, they were respectful of my home and keeping the jobsite clean and they met every timeline. They problem solved, were creative and their craftsmanship was superior. They were fitting both built-ins into a pre-existing architectural design scheme. What they came up with was a seemless transition in terms of detail and design work. The quality of their work is the best I've seen and I have been in the high end interior design business for 14 years. I was also very impressed with the quality and professionalism of their subs. Overall, the entire experience was very very positive and the end result was more than I could have hoped for. I would absolutely hire Adams + Beasley for any project going forward.”
