“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

“We recently downsized into a much smaller home which created numerous design challenges. I have never hired a professional interior designer but I knew I was out of my league and contacted Jen at Motif Design Solutions. Jen has done a wonderful job listening and designing around my priorities and lifestyle. She made sure to incorporate all my favorite photos, accessories and key pieces of furniture into her her beautiful design to create a personal and cohesive room! Jen's recommendation to remove our kitchen table and replace it with a beautiful hickory bar top has transformed our very small kitchen into a functional, unique and livable area large enough to accommodate family and friends. Jen is very responsive and communicates with me during every phase of the design process. She has made sure we stayed within our budget and her pricing structure is set up so I can not only afford her services but I'm also getting the best quality furniture and accessories available. We are still several weeks away from completing the first phase of our remodel and I can't wait to see the finished results and start on the next! Jen and Motif Design has made this an exciting, affordable and creative experience. Photos coming soon!”

“Jay the entire JC Designers Group were fantastic to work with. My husband and I bought a house that needed a lot of work; we were overwhelmed with all of the design possibilities, the decisions that needed to be made, and the potential of managing a large construction project while both working full time. Jay offered us peace of mind. His dedication to this project was unmatched; not only did he have brilliant ideas and suggestions, he also spent every day (sometimes 12 hours or more!) at our house making sure everything was operating smoothly. There are a lot of unforeseen circumstances that come up during the renovation of a 120 year old house; Jay managed through all of them successfully and kept our stress levels low. I now live in my dream house; Jay perfectly captured my design aesthetic and created an extremely functional living space. I get so many compliments on every part of my house, even the smallest details that Jay worked tirelessly to deliver. “It was an absolute pleasure working with Rhi McG from conception to completion. I joke with Rhiannon that she helped me totally Rhi-Imagine my kitchen, but it is true. Mine was a total renovation and I had ideas of how I wanted my kitchen to look, but did not see a clear path for getting there. I thought we would be stuck with replacing cabinets and appliances in the existing foot print, but she was able to offer different design scenarios that looked great, functioned well and made economic sense. She did a great job of designing the layout and selecting the materials that transformed the space from a rustic feel to a modern, sleek, working kitchen. Throughout the process she did a great job of communicating expectations and schedules clearly, coordinating the various trades and course correcting when necessary. I would absolutely recommend Rhi McG to anyone who is looking for a partner that combines creativity, strong communications and the ability to execute. I love the finished product and enjoyed the overall experience.”

“I've worked with Delilah and Mike on multiple remodel projects on my home (including both my master bath and most recently a kitchen/living area remodel), and they are awesome! Delilah was great at taking my ideas and incorporating them into a real-life design while also bringing new creative ideas and solutions to make the space special and functional. She's also amazingly helpful in making the many little decisions that can feel overwhelming, from cabinets to paint colors and grout. On the build side, Mike does excellent, high quality work, gets projects done on schedule, and goes above and beyond in taking care of your space. Both are super responsive and reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again or recommend them to any of my family or friends!”

“We have worked with Paul and Matt of Original Roots and their crew on several projects. You won't find a more talented, trustworthy, and reliable group of designers/builders. Their mission statement says it all -- they love what they do and the end results demonstrate that. They completely remodeled our master bathroom which now includes a sauna and steam shower along with a number of nifty design ideas. They also improved cabinets and other storage areas in our kitchen. And they are now doing exterior work on our second home in Salida adding a deck, a bridge over the "ditch", and an expansion of our guest quarters. They are an easy group to work with-- they listen well and follow through. In short -- they are the best in our many years of building from ground up and remodeling in Colorado.”

“Hom Solutions was amazing to work with from start to finish. Their design process was so wonderful. They provided digital pictures and walk through video which help us to visualize the completed basement. They were very easy to work with and open to all my last minute changes. Their organization and schedule were excellent. Their contractors were on time and extremely professional. They came through our window well most of the time which allowed us to continue on in our lives with very little disruptions. Their wood workers were amazing.
