“We hired Mike this summer to design and build a 2 level deck for us. The drop between the two decks was 4 feet, and we could not think of an elegant way to design the stairs so that they both looked good and didn't take up too much space. When Mike arrived to have a look at the space and give us a quote, he suggested that we round the stairs and have them fan out instead of just doing straight stairs. It was such a great idea as it made a beautiful transition from one area to the next. Mike also created a very nice privacy "wall" on the upper deck with louvers that can be opened or closed to let more or less light in. We are thrilled with the final product! We found Mike so easy to work with. His knowledge and craftsmanship is outstanding and his pricing is very fair. We would recommended Mike without hesitation!”
