“Vita and Jerry came to our house as the third company to give us a proposal to update our kitchen which was 15 years old. The existing cabinets were in excellent condition and we wanted to reuse and add more cabinets in some areas. The final proposal was the best one we received with a new opening created in one wall and an additional opening into living room from stairs coming down that we did not even know would be a great idea but transformed our whole first floor. “This was our second time working with the amazing team of contractors, project managers and designers at Prominent. They had previously done a spectacular job refinishing our basement (beams, bedroom, bathroom, storage, Martha Stewart mudroom, you name it). We were expecting twins and the need to expand our house was imminent. Our house is a hundred year old arts & crafts house so maintaining the integrity was essential. And being on schedule! We renovated our kitchen into a kitchen/great room area which therefore doubled our master bedroom and master bath located above. In addition, we created a bar room space where our former EIK was located and renovated our powder room. Lastly, we finished our third floor to be a guest suite with the most incredible bathroom ever. In addition, we added a new deck with under decking materials and had to rebuild stone walls-- I had no idea just how gorgeous this could be. A deck is not just a deck. The end result is nothing short of spectacular, extremely tasteful and maintained Arts & Crafts integrity although my husband and I were adamant that although we liked the linear style and functionality of A&C, we did not like the "darkness." Prominent stayed within our budget unless my husband and I personally strayed afar. They advised us when aesthetically we could all make a better choice. They were available 24/7, literally and if we had even the smallest emergencies, someone from Prominent was in our home immediately. I also love that Promiment Design factors into every project. Having Traci to literally help us with the tile work, cabinetry, paint colors, furniture layouts, the babies' nursery was such a wonderful finishing touch. Our home would not be the same otherwise. I am really not being overly sensationalistic here. We have truly had an amazing experience working with Prominent and having to live out the end of my pregnancy in my basement, and the first two months with twins, 2 big dogs, baby nurse and so forth down there, they did everything possible to expedite and keep us very comfortable.”

“Sam of Creative Carpentry & Design was a pleasure to work with. I liked him instantly, I liked that he listened to my ideas but also had great suggestions and ways to take my (somewhat disjointed!) ideas into a solid plan that addressed our needs. Sam turned our underused sunporch into an office. The space has a long narrow layout with windows covering nearly all the wall surfaces. He designed a desk unit with two work stations, plenty of storage, reworked an existing built-in bookcase to match and be more functional as well as added a closet/wardrobe size storage cabinet. It's my favorite room in the house! He has a great eye for detail and design and works tirelessly to make sure it looks exactly right. He also worked around my crazy part time work schedule coming to work on the days I was home. I would hire them again in a heart beat.”

The owner Paul was there everyday answered my texts calls and emails immediately they put up a temporary wall so the mess stayed in the work space they were so clean and neat about everything and the owner did the design for the work it was perfect I would never use anyone else.”
