“We added an orangery to extend our existing kitchen to create a large open plan room for kitchen, dining and seating. We chose Westbury mainly because we wanted a bespoke solution, they clearly had lots of experience of what does (and doesn't) work and they came up with designs that we really liked which brought to life and greatly improved our own half-baked ideas! We used Westbury to do everything....design, planning permission, building works (foundations, knocking through etc), building the orangery, installing underfloor central heating (including most of the plumbing), lighting and other electrics, internal floor tiling and they made and installed various bespoke fittings to help integrate the 'old' and 'new' areas into a single living space. We found all the Westbury staff to be friendly and professional and importantly they kept us well informed throughout. Most have been with the company for years and are passionate about doing a good job. Any building work always comes with an element of disruption and the real test of any firm is how they deal with the unforeseen issues that inevitably crop up - we didn't have many, but all were sorted promptly and professionally. Overall the whole design and build experience was a pleasure and the end result has exceeded our expectations.”

“Keith Barke did a great job for us, converting a garage into a living room and a small bedroom into a study. The major job was the conversion and though we knew roughly what we wanted, Keith came up with excellent ideas on such things as the heating and lighting that really improved the final design and functionality of the room. He also liaised with the council on the required building regulations. The smaller room is an awkward shape but, again, Keith came up with a smart solution involving a bespoke desk that has made the best use of the space - it wasn't something we could have visualised without his expertise. Very friendly and attentive service - not just Keith but all of his team - and the whole job was completed on time and on budget. Suffice to say, we're very pleased, and we're just about to use the firm again on another room. Highly recommended.”

We hired Fenlake Construction to build our single storey rear kitchen extension which was was built to an excellent standard and exactly how we wanted. The initial project only consisted of the construction of a kitchen extension but due to us being very happy with the work being delivered we then asked Fenlake Construction to carry out the kitchen fit-out as well. Rob and his team were punctual and attended Site everyday. Rob's team was very friendly and stuck to all their commitments. Rob, project managed the whole project from start to finish and managed to resolve all unforeseen problems throughout the whole process with minimal time and cost impact. All other trades such as plumbing, electrics and plastering etc. were manged effectively with minimal disruption to our day to day activities in the house. We were extremely happy with the attention to detail and quality Rob and his team put in to their work and appreciated all the advice regarding design and choice of materials that was given to us throughout the construction process. The site was kept tidy and the project was delivered on time and on budget.
