We worked with Bespoke Living for around a year, during which they carried out a significant modernisation and extension of our property, including a total refurbishment of the property’s interior, walls, floors, electrics, plumbing, garage conversion and large glass extension. Having carried out similar works with other building companies in the past, we were hugely impressed with Bespoke Living. They quoted accurately and kept to time and budgets throughout the project. They also proactively made suggestions for any further improvements and worked well with our chosen architect. Furthermore, as we weren’t able to be on site frequently, we especially valued their responsiveness from a communications perspective. Bespoke were open to any challenges we put to them, and also quick to communicate progress and/or suggestions for alternative solutions if they were needed. Once the project was finished, we were very pleased with the result - finishes were excellent and Bespoke on several occasions went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with their work. We would warmly recommend them and happily work with them again in the future!

We are in the process of finalising a rear and side extension which has been built by Bespoke Living Construction. Right from the start we knew that getting the right builder was going to be critical but also very difficult. We shortlisted three after being let down by others, and after discussions and quotes we went with Bespoke. We are extremely glad we did. Throughout the process of the build it has been great to work with Jon, Dan, Laura and the whole Bespoke team. This has been one of the best aspects of the company from our point of view - all the different trades and individuals we have dealt with have been great. Friendly, professional and willing to take time to get things right. Adam, Big John, Junior, Markus, George, Sam and James have all been a pleasure to have working on our house. Trying to get as much done for our tight budget as possible, we asked for a ‘builders finish’ which left us with the decorating and second fix. Nevertheless the attention to detail in the build has been great and has given us a great platform to do the finishing touches. We are now reaping the benefits of the good work done by the team and look forward to a fantastic finished build thanks to their work. Communications from the start were great and Laura has been superb at keeping us up to date on the money and progress of the project. Despite the challenges of the pandemic and Brexit the schedule has been kept to and where work needed to be speeded up, it was. We used Bespoke to renovate our existing annexe and incorporate it into the rest of our house. This included gutting both floors, removing a stair case, moving and reconstructing walls and then creating a cinema room with ensuite downstairs and a gym and master bathroom upstairs. At the same time they also extended our existing utility room on the other side of the house. Bespoke were transparent with their pricing where other builder’s quotes weren’t- it’s clear to see Laura has accounting qualifications. Jon and Dan were clear about exactly what plans they needed from us in order to quote accurately and honest about what parts of the job they would need external companies for. For example we wanted to install a sauna, they hadn’t done this before and spent time finding a company they felt were professional and putting us in touch with them. This doesn’t sound like much but it’s important to find a construction company that know their skill set and are honest about that rather than attempting a job which they don’t have full experience in. Bespoke were clear about their start date and stuck to the date we were given. Bespoke arrived on site at a consistent time and always left things tidy. Bespoke had a lot of guys here, quickly. They had a clear schedule of work and worked extremely hard to stick to it. Even with the constraints of covid and huge Brexit supply chain issues. The companies Bespoke work with, especially Marble (electrics and plumbing) have clearly been chosen extremely carefully and carried out work to a very high standard. We were also very impressed with Bespoke’s cabinet maker who make all our fitted wardrobes and a vanity unit. Jon, Dan and their team worked incredibly hard throughout the whole job, managed to keep smiles on their faces and were a real pleasure to have in the house. Any difficulties which arose in the project we really felt they genuinely cared as though it were their own home. They clearly take huge pride in the work they do. The communication throughout the project was fantastic and even when something completely unrelated to their project happened at our house Dan arrived within the hour to check it over for us. Emails were always answered quickly and there was always someone at the end of the phone. As the project drew to an end Bespoke were meticulous about noting down any snags they or we found and fixing them quickly. Jon has an eagle eye for the tiny details and often spotted things he wanted put right that we hadn’t even noticed. Every step of the way they checked we were happy with their work before asking for the next instalment of money. The end result. The work is finished beautifully and Bespoke have already booked in our 6 month review. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

After owning a seaside shack for 35 years we wanted to redevelop to allow us to live full time at the beach. The plans were slowly developed over about 5 years and finalised with our local architects who made it ready for planning permission to be granted and then detailed the construction for tender. During the tender interviews the enthusiasm and assurance that Dan Jon and Laura expressed convinced us that we should choose them to build our dream house. The start of the project was delayed slightly due to Covid but once on site the project was delivered within a few weeks of the projected programme and we moved in, house completed save for delivery of internal doors which we found were coming from China! A surprise to us all but after a few months they are all fitted and well worth the wait. It was a pleasure to work with Bespoke and their team who all reflected their enthusiasm and good will. We had regular meetings and engaged with Dan and Jon throughout the project – allowing us to fine-tune the details of the construction as it unfolded. Having eventually got our Planning passed, we wanted to use a local builder and architect. We came across Bespoke and liked what their website showed so arranged a meeting. This went really well. We connected immediately with Dan,Jon and Laura. So decided to go with them. We were building a pretty 'Eco' house and they were really exited by the project although they had only, up to then, built very grand extensions. They also suggested an architect who we also employed. Price agreed on and the work started early March 2020 and progressed well until Lock-down. But as soon as they could they were back. Our finish date had to be extended but everything went according to plan. Regular meetings took place and as usual, we upgraded some of our design. Lura was very fair on the extra pricing. The guys employed were really friendly and we got on extremely well. Our finish date, mid December wasn't quite met due to weather. However we moved in anyway and the guys worked around us. We couldn't think how any company could have treated us better.

Highly recommended - a great team to work with. We are so pleased that we chose Bespoke Living to build us a modern extension onto the back of our existing 300 year old thatched cottage. Throughout the 10 month project they were a pleasure to have on site, always polite, excellent at communicating and nothing was too much trouble. The whole team have a real can do attitude and were quick to escalate any issues and kept us fully informed of any problems along the way. The site was tidied at the end of every day, and was managed very well. Miraculously, the project finished pretty much on time, despite Covid shutting down most of the building suppliers half way through the project - Dan and Jon worked many extra hours trying to source materials from all over the country, and when most other sites shut down, we were able to continue. This speaks volumes about their passion for what they do, and their drive to deliver on time. Jon and Dan are really passionate about giving the customer their dream home, and the high level of finish has been commented on by friends and other tradesmen who have visited the house. Laura is extremely efficient and it gave us great confidence to have a qualified accountant on the team for a project of this size. If you are looking for honest, reliable and competent builders who are a pleasure to have around, look no further!

These guys are just great! We have worked with Bespoke Living Construction on several amazing projects along the beautiful south coast. They are top notch builders who give an amazing hands-on service and deliver results that are on time and on budget. Their dedication, attention to detail and can-do attitude is like no other. We would not hesitate to recommend the team at Bespoke. This project lasted six months and involved destruction, construction, a main extension and infill, with all the consequent trades, electrical, plumbing underfloor heating into existing system to prepare the site for a kitchen install. Our beam installation was quite complex and needed careful planning and sequencing. Jon and Dan were very straightforward and a pleasure to deal with, with high standards and we had confidence in them throughout. Their team were great guys, very considerate and the site was really well managed. Two things particularly impressed us - they really planned out the project and the steps required at each phase and they faced up to every problem we encountered along the way to find a solution and deliver that. We really enjoyed our build and working with them, and valued their input, ideas and attention to detail - they really wanted the project to be the best it could be. The back-up from Laura in terms of the contract and business side really set the team apart from other builders we have used. Clarity on billing, timetable and extras. We would thoroughly recommend the team and love our new space.

I am very happy with the service I received for the replacement of an extension flat-roof. The team at Bespoke Living gave me a prompt and reasonable quote, was flexible on the day I wanted the work done and turned up promptly. Less agreeable was the weather, which decided to chuck it down the week the work was due to be done. This didn’t stop the team at Bespoke Living, who pulled out all the stops to find ways to work around it and prevented it causing a major delay. The replacement roof was completed to a very high standard which looks like it will outlast the extension it is built on. I highly recommend Bespoke Living - a great service from professionals.

This was the third major house extension/renovation we have done and by far the best in the way it was done. The project covered most aspects of domestic building, from structural work to internal fitting out, and included a completely new plumbing, heating and electrical system. Dan and Jon were always on top of the detail. One or both of them was always on site, and they kept a full team on site too, with the result that the project finished on time, or in fact slightly early - a new experience for us. The budgeting (probably Laura's) was always clear so one always knew what something would cost before it was done. They listened to our suggestions and comments and took them on board, and were unfailingly polite and cheerful. They also took the trouble to establish and maintain good relations with our neighbours. We are delighted with the result and the way it was achieved.
