“Dovetail Construction performed a complete remodel of our home, (See Spring Creek home photos on Dovetails site) a challenge made more difficult by the fact that we lived 1200 miles away. Their budgets were practical and accurate, communications were detailed, timely and concise, their construction schedule was adhered to, and move in happened as planned in April. It was a "can do" attitude through out the entire project. Dovetail is: *Craftsmanship, communication, pride, service, and commitment, made possible by Tim R. and Kevin S. professional construction educations in civil engineering and construction management, prior work experiences, life long friendship and their commitment to their clients. They are the real McCoy. I had been a commercial construction executive for 30 years and have experienced much. It has been a pleasure working with Dovetail. Companies like theirs are hard to find.”

“Constructive Solutions, Inc., completed a beautiful LEED certified home, shop and artist's studio for us in 2010. We are so pleased, not only with the craftsmanship and special considerations in our working relationship, but with the follow up service regarding the workings and settling issues of a new home. Deadlines were met within a reasonable timeframe and communications on change orders were explained in detail. As an artist, it was exciting to be able to see my ideas become reality under Robs direction and my husband's engineering requirements were carried out with great detail. Rob listens well, is a genius of a builder with many innovative, sustainable ideas in his homebuilding ethic and is willing to think out of the box in architectural detailing. “Working Chad and his team at RMR Group to plan and build our new home was a great experience. The project was big and at a point in time where many of the local trades were extremely busy with work. RMR did a terrific job of coordinating construction, keeping the project on schedule, demanding quality workmanship fr.om subcontractors, while at the same time keeping our costs within budget. We are in our home now and are very pleased with how it turned out. As with any new home, issues have come up, but the RMR crew have worked diligently to get it right. Even little things that we would probably have just learned to live with, they went the extra step to make it perfect. Bottom line is they care about their work and take pride in the homes they build. I would highly recommend them to anyone building a home or office in Big Sky.”

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Don on two home construction projects. On the first project, I received two quotes and Don’s bid was the high. I ended up choosing the low bidder and deeply regret my decision. The contractor I went with used the cheapest subcontractor’s he could find, underestimated lumber quantities, and was never on site so I ended up doing most of the work myself. On the second project, I realized that the low bid is not always the best bid so I went with Don Schmidt. Don delivered a high quality home on time and under budget. If you want a quality home at a fair price, I would recommend Don Schmidt for your next home construction project.”
