From the very beginning of the process Rodney K Barker, Inc (RKB) stood out above the others(we met with other highly rated contractors for estimates also). Rodney was patient and knowledgeable, and even met us at some of his suppliers to gauge our taste in materials and the associated costs that would incur so that his estimate could be accurate and so we could be educated clients to the process for whichever company we choose even before we committed to RKB. Rodney is a christian man with integrity, honesty and I would have no problem recommending RKB for ANY sized project. He hires hardworking and trustworthy employees and we never once in five months felt uneasy about anyone who entered our home. Other highlights of why I recommend RKB: 1. Supervisor was onsite if any contractor was on our property. This guaranteed quality control and the security of not having to worry about things walking off the job. 2. Honest and hardworking employees JC, Raul, Jacob, Don, Leo and others were GREAT!!! 3. I wasn’t pressured for money EVER....and disbursements were never asked for in advance(except the initial project startup allotment which was pre-agreed upon). This was refreshing with a few previous experiences I’ve had with OTHER contractors. In fact, on two occasions I was told to wait to pay an allotment till the end of the week because the work wasn’t quite complete yet (refreshing that companies still exist like this). All that said I’d like to say just meet Rodney and you’ll see the difference. Pics are before the covering on the floor was removed and everything completely finished. House is all wood floors except the baths and utility.”
