“I contracted Curtis White Companies to build a home plan that I had found on the internet. Joe and Katie were very easy to work with -- they explained everything that had to be done and gave realistic expectations of how the process would work. Once construction began, they were very good keeping me updated on progress and aware of what steps needed to be taken. They were always good about hitting specific target dates (despite a very rainy summer to work in) and kept me in the know on the things I needed to have to them. In the end, the final product is the home I was hoping for and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend Joe and Katie to anyone looking to build a house.”

“I contacted Scotch Homes when I wanted to build a large home and barn on my land. I had heard nightmares about working with contractors but this was a fantastic experience. “My spouse and I wanted to replace an aging deck and carport at the side of our lakeside home with a garage extension and a gabled sun room above the garage. We searched for years to find a contractor who could reliably put my husband's sketches of plans into reality. We also wanted to be able to do some of the interior work ourselves and to phase in plans for a side deck later to keep costs affordable. In 2009, we located Jon Waldrop, owner, master carpenter, and contractor of Remodeling Associates, Inc., who worked extremely well with us to refine plans and construct the addition in the fall of 2009. The gable matched the design of other gables of the house, and the sun room took advantage of the view of the lake. By spring of 2010, my husband and I had completed insulation and interior walls, recessed lights, and a paneled ceiling in the sun room. In 2012, I built the side deck of composite planks, and we hired a fabricator to create deck rails.”

“Jadco/Mickey Bates painted and glazed kitchen and master bath cabinetry, repaired sheetrock and replaced damaged trim in the master bedroom, installed granite countertops in the kitchen, and painted kitchen, master bed and bath. I cannot praise them enough for the wonderful job they did. It was done in a timely way and all the crew were excellent, knowledgeable, polite, going way beyond what I expected, even cleaning up after each days work. An example of going above and beyond, ie, I had selected granite that was not available locally so the granite company sent a representative to Atlanta to buy the slab. The representative emailed me pictures of the slab, even sent pictures of three other slabs that were much less expensive. Mickey Bates was very professional, he came and inspected each job done and if not satisfied would correct the situation ASAP. I cannot praise Mickey Bates enough for the job he did and would gladly recommend him to anyone. You will not be disappointed.”
