“We have had the pleasure of working alongside while providing our painting and finishing services to Hearth & Home for the last few years. We cannot say enough about the quality of the people that we interact with at Hearth & Home, starting with Tim (General Manager), Barb (Design Manager), Karoline (Office Manager), all of their in-house team, both off and on site, and fellow trade partners. The business atmosphere fostered is admirable and their desire to please their clientele is evidenced by the value that is placed upon high quality workmanship and the appreciation expressed for upstanding character in their trade partners. While no project is without it's little bumps and hiccups, when these occur, it has been our experience that Hearth & Home addresses these with open communication, proactive decision making and prompt action to maintain the flow of work and project schedules. Often times, being one of the last trade partners on site, we have many opportunities to interact with homeowners that have elected to have Hearth & Home complete their renovation. Their comments almost invariably start with how happy and comfortable they are with the people they have had dealings with at Hearth & Home and finalizes with their contentment and satisfaction with the finished project. “We moved into our home in June 2013 and are extremely happy with the outcome. The quality of products and workmanship are top notch and their attention to detail is impressive. They build with passion and integrity, which is not only reflected in the aesthetics of our home but also in features behind the walls. In certain instances they exceeded building code requirements. Siena Signature Builders made the design process easy. They were patient and flexible, allowing us to add our own design touches and they ensured we were educated along the way. Siena included features that make our home functional yet unique so that it stands out from others. They provide excellent customer service, are more than willing to answer our questions and provide timely follow up. We love our home and will continue to recommend Siena Signature Builders!”

“We are currently having a complete renovation done on our home. This is a 6-8 month project. All the walls were taken out in our upstairs and downstairs bungalow, and our general contractor, Ultimate Renovations have worked closely with us to develop a new design. We have chosen Ultimate Renovations as this organization has since 1979 been Calgary's only 8 time Renovator of the year and Winner of 30 CHBA Renovation Awards. We have also seen the quality of work in their previous projects. All the staff of Ultimate Renovations, and their suppliers are very customer focussed, professional, and take the extra time to do quality work. We are living in one of Ultimate's rental homes as they do the work. Work is in progress. We are pleased with the quality work that is being done. We also have access to a wonderful designer from Renew Designs, also from Calgary. We have and are also truly benefiting from houzz.com's website, as we are able to obtain a lot of our ideas from there.”

“Jeff has been awesome to deal with! After a parade of "contractors" that made Mike Tyson look professional and level headed, we gave it one last chance and met with Jeff after seeing his ad on Facebook. When I found out he used to work as a Site Supervisor at a larger builder here in Calgary, I could instantly tell that he understood how hiring a contractor is just as much about customer service as it is the work. Jeff was helpful, and genuine. Most surprisingly, he gave me a quote and while I expected it to be 15% higher than the quote, he stuck to every dime! I didn't have to wait weeks for a quote, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the work. Surprisingly enough, through his contacts his HVAC guy ended up being the same guy that worked on my home when it was being built. They pulled of a miracle from a previous mess up and fixed the existing work that was already done!”

“We had never built was a custom home builder before building with Matisse Homes so we didn't know what to expect - in the end to go with Kelvin was the best decision we made. He was so easy to work with, he was there to help with all of our decision making, he was always on the job site ensuring things were running smoothly and in a timely fashion. There were no surprises in costs and we knew what we were getting from the beginning of the process. At a time where our friends were building with a custom home builder and having all sorts of problems, budget overages and a 2 year build, from digging the hole in the ground to move in for us was 9 months! He had a great relationship with all of his trades people and they also were very respectful and easy to deal with. We have been in our home for 4.5 years and we still walk into our house and feel the same way we did the first time we saw it complete - and we still say that if we do it one more time, we'll be calling Kelvin.”

“Dave and his crew replaced some of our siding with raised hardy panel with a metal reveal. Looks fantastic and they did a great job. They also built a very large arbour over our concrete decks and a built in bench seating and table. Again the guys did a great job. Dave and his trades are very professional and I would highly recommend them. They will be back this spring to continue some work.”
