“McKenney Builders did a bathroom remodel. They were quick, professional, and courteous. I am totally satisfied with their work as I had to have them redo another contractor's shoddy work.”

Bauer Construction Consulting, LLC
Builders in Cecil County, MD
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars1 February 2024
“No matter what has come up, and in a 220 year old house, believe me, things "come up" BAUER CONSTRUCTION has handled the situation with professionalism. They redid a dangerous (no kiddong) brick sidewalk, put in a beautiful brick driveway, and redid a winding brick pathway through the yard. BAUER construction literally rebuilt the house nextdoor. I watched their meticulous attention to detail, and the house looks amazing. As soon as possible, they are going to be replacing the cedar siding on part of my house. I'm sure they will do an excellent job. I'll come back and do an update when they're done. By all means - I HIGHLY recommend BAUER construction!”

“Rob is really knowledgeable and reasonable contractor. We had them do multiple interior and exterior projects for us and the outcome was never less than perfect. He’s arguably one of the best contractors in the area. Thank you guys for all the hard work!”
Ayala Painting, LLC
Builders in Cecil County, MD
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars6 February 2015
“Ayala Painting does great work. I moved here from Washington, DC and did not have a good painter. My neighbor suggested I call Ayala. I am so glad I did! The are very good, professional, meticulous, respectful and courteous. I have recommended them to others and they have had the same experience. Jobs performed: (1) They painted the exterior of our home -- wood siding (they did all of the carpentry work, too); (2) the interior of our home (suggested someone to help with our color choices--excellent recommendation); and they power washed and stained (2) decks, garden wall and steps. They are the best!”

“The Allura Group remodeled our kitchen and we are very happy with the results. From sitting down and designing the space, every detail was worked out and orchestrated on a very successful time line. We were kept up to date with phone calls so we always knew what to expect. The disruption to our lives ended up being very minimal and the end product gorgeous. Who could ask for more? We will be hiring them again for bathroom renovations. They are a wonderful, extremely professional, competent group of people. They understand their craft and do beautiful work.”

Oz Creations
Builders in Cecil County, MD
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars22 August 2013
“Oz did a beautiful job on our kitchen renovation. We did not move any walls, but he removed our 1959 cabinets and appliances back to the plaster, rewired the whole kitchen, and installed new lighting, plumbing, flooring, tile backsplash, cabinets and appliances. He worked with us to help figure out where we could economize and where it was important to spend money. His pricing was completely transparent - he charges for his own labor, without marking up materials or subs. All the subcontractors and vendors he brought in were professional and pleasant and did a great job. The cabinet vendor he recommended was also very responsive to our ideas, made really useful suggestions, and it was obvious that he and Oz had a long, mutually respectful relationship. The kitchen was completed in three weeks! (It would have been two, but the granite countertop took a week or so to template and fabricate.)”
