“After contacting and having onsite consultations with 5 different Architects in the Leicestershire area, we decided to use SKM. It was instantly obvious there were a much more professional company than the others, offering advice and suggestions from the off rather than just asking us what we wanted, we don't know what we want, that's why we are looking for an architect! Initially I though the price was rather high, but on reflection now it's all complete, it was well worth spending a bit extra. Throughout the process SKM listened to our requirements, no matter how often we wanted to change things or make tweaks, this was not an issue. The designs and ideas presented to us were inline with what we wanted and ticked every box of our requirements from the first draft design. The tendering process was also easy, it was all organised by SKM, and they only tender to builders they have used previously and have had good reports on. The project management once the build starts was where I was most surprised by SKM involvement and eye for details. With seemingly weekly visits checking up on everything, it really gave me reassurance the project would be a success. Now we have moved back to our home, we are over the moon with the result, and the project has made a real positive impact on family life. I have no hesitation recommending SKM to anyone.”
