“The Engerman crew were professional and helpful from the design development all the way through to the completion details of my project. The owner was friendly and very attentive to our needs and budget. Overall- I would say that we got much more value for our money then we ever expected! The project manager was great and helped me understand the process of my build/renovation and had amazing communication by keeping me in the loop on timelines and progress milestones. I am not in the construction field so therefore I don't know the right questions to ask or what is standard practice. I was grateful to be treated with respect, as they educated me and involved me in the process. As the build was underway their onsite guys where courteous and always made sure to wave and say good morning, the office manager was welcoming and very helpful, and the owners wife even stopped out to help me pick out paint colors and tiles! As they finished the build, the project manager made sure to use quality materials such as solid core doors, poplar trim, high end fixtures, and custom cabinets. Engermans crew definitely cared, and paid attention to details that ultimately make the house shine. The end result was a beautiful home that my family loves! I would hire this builder again, and again. Thanks for all the hard work!!”

They did a great job of listening to our ideas while providing creative suggestions and useful ideas along the way to eventually turn our vision into a reality. “Stephanie and Steve did such a great job. They took our ideas and added to them to create our perfect basement. Stephanie had great insight into what we would like and helped us make the right decisions. Her background is definitely an asset. Steve's expert craftsmanship really shows through throughout the basement. His ideas on how to make our dreams into walls, arches, rooms and fantastic spaces was perfect. They took the extra step to identify a pre-existing problem that required a structural engineer to eval our home and then they took the additional steps to implement the solution. I felt that many others would have missed the subtle signs that he and his crew found. Post remodel, we had them come out to rebuild our chimney that became leaky and they worked on the roof in the hottest day of the entire summer. The entire team at One Room at a Time, Inc was fabulous. They all work well together, were respectful of our privacy and our home and really took pride in their work. We have plans to have them continue with other remodel projects in our home to include a master bathroom remodel and an attic. We give them our highest recommendations and have recommended them to family and friends. We look forward to working with them in the future.”
