We replaced the floors through out the house (wood) , complete kitchen remodel, paint, replaced toilets, etc. Most of the project was conducted while we were in Maine, home in Arizona. “Dan from Nu Wavz Homes builds custom homes, but he also does remodels and other various things around the home. We hired Dan to build us a custom "in wall" entertainment center where there was a big hole. What an amazing design and job he did. He listened to us, he was very quick and clean with his work and his workers listened to me and my wife and did EXACTLY what we wanted. He also converted a wine rack into a plate rack for us. We don't drink any wine so it wasn't needed. You would never know that it didn't come built in like that. I will hire Dan again hands down. “Our project was to convert the existing patio to a living space that requires the city permit and inspection. After one contractor failed to deliver the service, we found Berky Holdings through Houzz Professionals. Al and Sharon thoroughly understood our needs and provided additional design ideas by visiting us several times and discussions. We chose Berky Holdings over other couple of quotes from other companies; we loved the detailed ideas and thoroughness from the day 1. Sharon is the bank of ideas for the room and provided unlimited ideas so that we could expand our options. Al is a true problem solver; we came across several bumps (structural engineering, 16 feet door installation, custom screen doors, custom locks, custom auto sliding door lock…etc) which we didn’t foresee and he figured out every single issues and made everything smooth. As the project was going, as a home owner, we wanted to add additional things, and Al took care of all of them; we were so pleased to have him as our contractor. Project details: Converting existing patio to a living space (room) with 16 feet sliding glass doors & 8 feet sliding doors, HVAC and permit process; Installing existing patio french door to the bedroom (new door frame); New pocket doors in the new room with one way mirror; Converting front porch from dirt to artificial grass and many more things.
