“I used Aspen for our project, it was our second move from a flat to a house. We bought a house which required a complete refurbishment, in addition we decided to extend the property to the rear along with a loft conversion. The works took 8 months to complete as the entire house was gutted along with front and rear garden landscaping. Aspen were exceptional to work with from start to finish, very accommodating with some additional alterations which we decided to carry out during the build. We would highly recommend Aspen especially as no compromise was taken with our previous home.”

“We employed K Design and Build to undertake a two storey side and front extension and a single storey rear extension which included a large kitchen/diner design. Throughout the build, Karl’s standard of work and attention to detail was exemplary. We gave Karl a strict immovable deadline for our build and despite very challenging weather conditions at times Karl and his team worked tirelessly to ensure we were able to move into our dream home on time. Karl provided superb customer service throughout the build providing excellent advice on the overall design of the project and managing our stress levels through inevitable challenges that arose during the 6 month build. Most impressively this level of customer service has continued since the completion of the build. Karl has completed a 6 month review of the build with a 12 month final check arranged. “Mark and Martin lead up the company very well. They are frequently onsite and the level of communication has been very good. The initial quote was competitive and they don't go in for the hard sell during the project either and have remained calm and relaxed to deal with throughout. And they have pulled together a great team, who all work incredibly hard. We started our project in the middle of November and when we were told that they were scheduling to finish late March, we took it with a pinch of salt, but we will be finishing up next week on schedule, even despite the access issues of our street creating some logistical problems and the snow delaying the removal of our scaffolding. This timeline was around a month shorter than other tenders that we received and I think has only been achievable as they really do throw resources at their projects as honouring their proposed completion dates seems really important to them. Frankly we have been amazed at the number of people we have had onsite each day. We have been onsite throughout, living in a garden room, so we have seen how the team interacts with each other and whilst I can't understand all that much (all are polish), there seems to be a great camaraderie within the team and a really positive atmosphere around the place. They have all been incredibly polite and helpful to both Mandy and me. Our two foremen Lukas and Artur, have been our daily focal points and have been so responsive to our little tweaks / changes of mind. They lead the team really well. Electricians, plumbers, tilers and painters have all been sourced through HHC and are clearly specialists and not random builders having a go at tiling a bathroom. As we approach the end of the project, we are feeling incredibly fortunate that we found HHConcept and are enjoying seeing, what seems to us, a quality finish being added to a really good build. We have been recommending them already to our friends and several neighbours have asked for their details as they have been amazed at the speed of progress compared to other projects in the street in recent years.”

“Bill and his team were recommended to us by some friends who had work done by the them. We're so pleased that we took their recommendation because from the first time we met Bill, right through the build and onto the completion of the project we have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and expertise of himself and his staff. We planned to extend our house at the back and to the side (which we have done) but with advice and suggestions from Bill, who was able to guide us during the whole design process, we have managed to gain so much more from the build than we originally anticipated. Bill reconfigured the layout to allow us to also have space for a downstairs toilet/wet room and also a laundry room. He did all of this without compromising on the other key features we wanted to incorporate into our new kitchen/family room and study area. Bill also suggested installing 5 Bi-Fold doors across the back of the house instead of the planned windows and patio doors and the result is amazing. We now have maximum light and a feeling of space all day long as well as an uninterrupted view of the garden. Everything came in on budget and we're confident that no corners were cut to achieve this. I honestly can't recommend Bill and his team highly enough. They are friendly, trustworthy and reliable - exactly what you want when you have strangers working in your home”
