“JFWood remodeled my house over the course of several years. I purchased the house as a retirement location and worked with them to make it perfect over the spam of a couple of years. I worked area to area in the house to make the house my own. Scope of work: kitchen, 3 bathrooms, finish basement, and remove some interior walls to make the house more open. I did this while continuing to work in Columbus, OH. They were very helpful, courteous and professional. As I was not on site when the work was being performed, I could rely on them to handle deliveries and do the best job for me in my absence. they stood by their work and resolved any issues that have come up. They handled a couple problems for me that were above and beyond their scope of work, just to help me in my absence. I am very happy with the final product and would recommend them to others.”

“Green Trade Contracting did a total rennovation of the main downstairs bathroom in our 1901 home. Keeping with the historical period was important to us as was using state of the art water saving technology. Steve Green, the owner, recommended removal of all of the knob and tube electrical replacing it with 21st century technology. He also thought it best to remove all the plaster and lathe instead of trying to repair it and replaced it with drywall etc. It was because of a leak we discovered in the walls that we decided to proceed with the rennovation, it was not totally done just for aesthetics, but they were an important aspect of the job. We had the project done when we were out of town on vacation with no worries or issues of trust. We came home to a completely renovated and beautifl new bathroom that looks as if it was preserved from back when the bathroom was first installed.”

“Rusty Borders from KOH built a new home for us after moving from a home we lived in for 35 years. He had renovated this home on the outside and our daughter bought it. The new home is behind the old one and it is beautiful. It is in the country so sepic tank, well, and finger systems had to be installed. He worked with all county employees and contractors, which were many, and made sure all were up to code. He was able to change the original plans from 3 bedrooms to 2 and added a sunroom. He worked with me as I wanted an Arts and Craft look and everything is more than I could have wanted. He built cabinets in living room to accommodate our large TV and multiple tapes, CD, DVD's etc. Again they are perfect. I wanted large doors to accommodate a wheel chair and bars in bathroom when and if they are needed in the future. The doors are my favorite thing, five panel which look like old school doors. Crown molding and floor trim are stained dark just as requested. James Hardie siding on the outside is great and he made pillars on the front porch which we love. There have been issues after moving in which we expected and Rusty has gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy with the finished product. We love our new home!”
