“I have had VA Home Services do several projects for me over the years. The projects have ranged from hundreds to thousands of dollars. The dates and amount selected for this review was the biggest project they did for us. Each experience with VA Home services has been courteous and professional. We feel that the owner has the utmost integrity. When he makes an appointment, he keeps it. It's nice to be able to count on a contractor to show up when they say they will. VA Home services has done both repairs and renovations for us. The did a very large job in our basement - we had a wall with some mold that was repaired, they vented our basement bathroom, created a vented closest in the basement for the cat boxes, installed new doors, and painted. They have done repairs on my rental property as well as on my residence. I do not hesitate to call VA Home Services when I have repairs and renovations to be done.”

“Have work with Nelson and Randy at N&H for 15 to 20 years now. They have the knowledge, equipment and experience to work on any project. As a General Contractor I have hired them for all sorts of concrete projects and they are currently working on my largest and most complicated project that I have done in the past 32 years. “We had a catastrophic fire last year, completely destroying a fine old house. DeMarne & Day has been like a silver lining in a traumatizing experience. I can't overstate how impressed we have been with their craftsmanship, care, communication and work ethic. They have been with us, day in day out, for more than 9 months, and--remarkably--we have not a single complaint. Here's just one small example of their care: They postponed giving halls and stairs a second coat of paint until after our furniture was moved in, because there would be sure to be nicks and dings in the paint. Then they retouched to perfection.Another: During a very wet spring, without even being asked, they dug up some paving stones had sunk with the heavy rain, added a gradual mound of dirt and mulched around the freshly raised stones. And it's been like that all the way. Through all these stressful months, it's been a relief to have them working with us and a pleasure to know them.”
