“I found GreenStar Construction through word of mouth. I was impressed by the designs my colleague showed me with such a substantial budget on their home, so my wife and I decided to go with them. We were re-designing our kitchen. We changed countertops, sinks, backsplash and cabinets. The owner gave us phenomenal options to choose from within our budget. Jay has an eye for design which my wife really appreciated. “I am an interior designer in the San Francisco Bay Area and it has been my distinct pleasure to work with Frank Puliafico on many projects since 1992. His work, and that of his excellent crews, is of the highest quality and the experience of working with Frank is always a delight. Designers always worry about their projects but I never worry about a project if Frank is the builder. He is, at all times, organized, proactive, honest, dependable, trustworthy and smart. He has carefully trained his crews and they are some of the best craftsmen (and people) I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Frank has the breadth of knowledge and experience to assess a job, trouble-shoot any potential issues in advance, fairly price and prepare spreadsheets on both costs and schedule, and manage all aspects of the project effortlessly (or at least it seems that way!). “Dave Rasmussen and all of the people that work with him are among the most highly skilled, resourceful, honest and considerate people that we have ever had work on our home. Deadlines and budgets were respected and for the most part were adhered to, unless we changed the scope of work. On many aspects of the construction we were presented with various options so that the completed project (a kitchen, pantry, bar, family room and finished lower level) was very tailored to our needs. The whole crew was respectful to our neighbors who never complained during the year-long project. Dave worked seamlessly with architect David Gast, whom I would also highly recommend, so that the entire project proceeded smoothly without time delays or problems of communication.”

“We hired Eran to renovate two full bathrooms, including our master which was a major undertaking as it involved removing a wall and moving plumbing around. He also handled some other projects around our house. Eran was the last contractor we met with after meeting with 10 others and we are SO happy we chose him. He is honest, professional, hardworking and very fair. He was always present on our job, showing up regularly to check in on the progress, always reachable when I had questions and made sure to address any concerns that came up throughout the process. His team is also wonderful, always showing up on time and very respectful while they worked in our home. I know from experience how nerve-racking it can be to hire a new contractor and Eran really made it easy to build the trust that you need in that relationship. We will definitely hire him for future home projects. There is no one else we'd rather work with!”

“Had 2 bathrooms gutted and redone. The finished product looks great. John and NB were great communicators, was always available by text. The subs were talented, great plumber and tiler. Took longer, but some of that was me with change orders. Made sure through the entire project we always had in inside toilet. Bid came in at the middle, still not cheap but the end result was worth it.”
