“We are in the final phases of building a new home with Hillcrest Builders. Our experience with this company has been amazing! Oyvind Solvang (Owner) is very involved with the home building process. He met with us many times going through our plans and options. He was accommodating, yet realistic with what we could afford. We felt comfortable and at ease with the open line of communication they provided. Everyone on their team has been helpful and kind. Jim Kelly our project manager keeps us informed of progress and what we can expect to see during construction. He is very attentive and always responds to calls or emails the same day. “My husband and I set out to finish our basement, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, bar and living space for our entire family. Jason Staral was recommended to us by a family friend for being a great person to work with. My husband and I met with several contractors with very un-finalized plans for our basement layout. From the second we met Jason, we knew "he was The One" because he was the utmost professional, adviser, and a great listener with an enormous amount of patience. My husband and I had changed the plans multiple times throughout the process, and Jason was always easy to get in touch with, adaptive, assuring and consultative with all our curve balls we threw him. Even though our home's lower level was a construction site for 3 months or so, you'd never know it because Jason tidied up the space before he left every day. Not many contractors will do that, and it goes such a long way! Our basement is GORGEOUS and exactly what we wanted! Jason is a meticulous perfectionist, professional, and we will recommend him for any construction project to any one. We came to Jason nervous, overwhelmed and uncertain. Jason went above and beyond to deliver what we didn't even know we wanted. Did I mention our basement is GORGEOUS?”
