When my wife and I were looking for someone to build our forever home, we spent countless hours with dozens of contractors around Northwest Indiana trying to find someone that would make our dreams a reality. When we met with Cory for the first time, we knew we had found the right guy for the job. We built a completely custom home that literally has everything we asked for whether it was something big or small. "NO" was never an answer. “I started an attached breezeway and two car garage addition this summer with another local contractor. After a couple of days they had the walls up. I am pretty picky about my projects and I was not happy with the quality of their work so I paid them for what they did and let them go. My dad and I had to go back and fix some things before the next step. In the mean time I contacted Andy from Oconnor Builders and he agreed to come out and see where the project was at and see what it was gonna take to finish it. I was worried because we were in a dry spell and we had rain approaching in the next week and i hated to have it get wet before the roof was set. He told me as soon as they finished up the job they were on that they would get right on setting my trusses and tying into the existing house roof. Sure enough they did just what he said and my problem was solved. He even stayed within my budget. I also hired them to set my doors and windows and siding. Any concerns along the way he answered and certain things I requested a certain he gladly did. That meant a lot to me. I would glad recommend any job big or small to use Oconnor Builders.”

“Very happy with Banter Flooring!! Our builder suggested a few options for the purchasing of our floor and cabinets. Never having built a home before we decided to go with Banter for flooring and another company for cabinets. I wish I had gone to Banter for both the flooring and the cabinets. Banter did a great job on the flooring and at the last minute we also purchased the back splash from them instead of where we bought our cabinets. We worked with Dana. She was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. When we were in the house for a few months we went back to have the basement carpeted and again they did a great job and the prices on everything could not have been better anywhere else we checked. We did have some settling issues with the back splash, however they were promptly corrected and we were very pleased. I recommend going to Banter first.”
